So, I got this very rare opportunity to travel to America, and I'll be coming to California in a few days. I have some relatives there that I'll be staying with, but it would be nice if you could inform me about shows and concerts there. I'm gonna stay in the vicinity of San Francisco, so provide me with info about things I should see (Doesn't have to be punk, I'm into all kinds of music.)

Thanks in advance, and cheers from Serbia.

So, no one from California around? This is probably once in a lifetime opportunity for me, and I doubt I will easily find anything fun without local help. I am not even sure what are people in America doing in their free time. Oh well, I guess I can always go to Disneyland or something \m/

Hey sorry for the late reply, this is the first time i've been on the board in months. If your looking for shows in the San Francisco Bay Area use this online listing:

Disneyland is about a 8-9 hour drive from San Francisco, if you didn't know. San Francisco has many tourist attractions, and i'm sure that there will be some fun stuff to see. There was a recent Police shooting in the city, so i'm sure you will find some protests or something along those lines.

Well you can always look up whats going on at Gilman Street for shows or at the Hazmat in Oakland... SF has a lot of venues that have shows and there is also Berkley for lots of stuff to do...and s.a.d. is right about the shooting, another in a recent series of murders by police in the bay area.
