Greetings from the urban jungle of the Hostile City. To be honest, I don't really have any real solid political views; I don't support or protest one thing or another, but maybe this site might help me out on that. The music I listen to ranges - punk, hardcore, grindcore, metal, rockabilly, surf, blues, lounge, swing, bluegrass...if I like it, I listen. Self-employed writer, artist and performer that's been on the DIY route from the beginning of making the choice of where I wanted my life to go. It's certainly been an interesting adventure so far. That's pretty much it. You want to know something, just ask.

Right on...anything in particular that inspires your writing? Mostly I vomit various opinions onto tumblr and have a public blog that archives my varies adventures as a performer, and I wrote a novel a couple of years ago that I plan on publishing at some point. I'm always looking for new and interesting things to read since the good majority of stuff out there is all woe-is-me crap.
I want to blog but I never seem to get my head around it, I can never think of anything orignal, my mind just goes blank... I usually write subversive tales, inspired from gonzo style in an extreme and pure form... I've written all my life but still find myself trying to perfect my style, I hate writing cliché so scrap 90% of my work but I'm working on a book myself. I spent 3months in America a few years ago now and its just about my time there, I'm about 75% through the rough draft and its a true as i can remember it, but when i put it on the computer to polish it off i reckon i may twist it all and make it more non-fiction... Like i said its about my time there, I was pretty much homeless and a bunch of junkies took me in and looked after me and got into all sorts of wierd, crazy and twisted situations (to cut a long story short).... Thanks much...tho it's kind of creepy you know my name. The great thing about writing - at least for me - is that it's an outlet for thoughts and emotions as they come. Granted, I go thru times where I lack motivation/inspiration, but when it does strike, or I find a particular subject that interests me, the words just kind of form themselves. But I totally agree that I don't like writing things that are cliche, and for a long time, I didn't even really share much of my works in public because I didn't think anyone would be interested. Muahahaha vee 'ave our methods ....I'm actually related to Poe so I've always liked the name Lenore, and I write as well, although its been about two years that I've written consistently...I've a book too Cider, 7 short stories in about 460 pages that needs editing, so busy playing music these past 2 years that I've really neglected it....
That's pretty awesome. Some day I am making a point of having my picture taken in front of the Poe house here. Eh, those things happen. It took me several years to write my novel because I kept setting it aside for various reasons. Mostly since I didn't believe in 'forcing' myself to write it, and only completed it last October.
I love it when i go back to something I've forgotten about, and I read through it and think its good... then remember that I wrote it... So leaving stuff for a while sometimes works out for the best. Is there a page on here for writers? Would be cool for us to post some work up, see what people thing.
