Street Punx,is this a new thing or has this been going on for a while?Obviously street punk has been around since before I excisted but Being a street kid for quite some time I've heard the term used quite a bit but when I met these kids they all had expensive clothes and drive hybrids,at first I laughed it off but it's been about a year now and half the jocks a sporting mohawks and kuttes ,I guess what I'm getting at is are all street punk kids p.c. unoriginal jocks or is this an okc thing?

Their fans may not view them now as street punk and they really aren't, but back in the 90s when Aus Rotten were active they played Beer Olympics 2 or 3 times in NYC, they were on compilations with the Casualties and Public Nuisance among other street punk bands and they of course looked the part too:
They were always set apart by their lyrical content, which is why crust punks love them but you can't deny they associated a lot with the street punk scene on the east coast. You need to take into account what bands were in that scene regardless of whether on not they were of that genre.

    As for crucifix, same thing:

Devoid of what political stances they take, the average street punk looking for a good record wouldn't think Crucifix wasn't a street punk band and its because of bands like Crucifix street punks mature and expand their musical/political tastes with crust/anarcho/HC.

Street punk isn't a look, its a chaos punk mentality which neither Crucifix or Aus Rotten ever had, regardless of what shitty bands they ended up on a compilation with....spiky hair and mohawks =/= street punk, so your pictures prove absolutely nothing, sorry. I suppose every 82 punk band from Europe like Kaaos and Anti Cimex not to mention Discharge you would consider street punk too by your logic..Diatribe too? :lmao:

Chaos Punks are a bunch of idiots that do not know what Anarchy is, and think it is chaos, and only care about getting fucked, and drugs and alchool. The first chaos punk was The Sex Pistols, a bunch of jerks. John Lydon is a racist. Chaos Punks are also mean all the time, and have jock mentality, and are opposed to Crust punks, Anarcho-Punks, Hardcore Punks. Chaos Punks often make fights with random people and are macho, and as a result sometimes the Chaos Punk is taught a lesson with fists not to start random fights.

Buddy screw all that laces & braces game. It is all bullshit. Wear what you want. But if you feel you are getting into too much shit, i.e. you get jumped or have to fight a bunch & you are against violence. I suggest you ditch them. It is that simple. & yes yellow laces look nice to me too.

Good on you for being anti-violence, even though it sounds like some people have treated you fairly shitty. I agree, wear what ya wanna. For years I wore white laces in my boots knowing full well what it was supposed to "mean", and I got a lot of shit for it. I just don't believe in that crap- I like the way white laces look on black boots too, same with yellow it provides contrast. Only people who believe in that laces stuff around here tend to be young punks who don't know shit or other dudes who are just too insecure to dress how they please in case they break some sorta punk dress code I guess.

    Solidarity, comrade!

What they fail to realize is that as pattern seeking animals it is in our nature to create routines. Eventually, even kicking the shit out of innocent bystanders becomes predictable. But of course, they're too busy running around, giving the media fuel to make punk look bad and creating TEH FULL ANARKIEZ to ever consider that :ecouteurs:

Cheers to you! If you are against violence I respect it, but I personally don't advocate or practice Anarcho-pacifism. For the very simple reason my enemies would love that, considering they are not pacifists. Basically I am saying it is a very beautiful but very impractical philosophy. A philosophy needs to be pragmatic & practical. Some would say pacifism is practical, I would disagree I AM NOT GANDHI. & let me be crystal clear. This is not a dis to my pacifists comrades at all. I very much respect your right to be that, I even kinda admire your idealism on the matter. But I am Antifa. :ecouteurs: :ecouteurs: :anti-nazi: & I say fuck any Skins OR ANYONE ELSE that don't like it! Sometimes you got to take a fucking boot to the god damn fascists. Those assholes are far from peaceful. They thrive on peoples fear & apathy. Some might be reached thru appeals to their reason & humanity, but most will not. I say fuck yeah I am proud to hear you fought those stupid fuckin bonehead bastards! Solidarity from the U.S.
    :anarchism: :skinhead:

PUnks are the soldiers of Anarchy land and people. Some dudes with guts facing motherfuckers and dictators. Punks are the soldiers of Freedom. Punks are th rebellion against the conformist society. Mohawks are the independant soldiers of the rebellion. PUnks are not only the strong arm of arnarchy, but also the more fun.

Who John Lydon really was belongs to him and his family and friends.
Johnny Rotten under the light of showbusiness he was the incarnation of chaotic youth. The fuck you all attitude.
and yes he wore a nazi cross tshirt on a video clip.
But he was the symbol of rebellion.

The definition of punk is today very broad.
The early punk movement was less political as it is today.
In the 70-80, a punk was a guy or girl with a mohawk, listing rock (it was not called punk rock at that time),
rebel with new values and tastes ... and destroy.
Punk definition had to change, because it was a no-future attitude and sometimes a no-futur misery.
A lot of punks died young.
The punk movement today has kept only the best of the early period: music, anarchy, freedom, antifa, never surrender, my way

Johnny Rotten, who fucking cares about that stupid tshirt, MY WAY is still the most beautifull song ever ......................... the best version!
