    Poster-iti Biography

Punk band from Istanbul/Turkey. Formed in 2003.

Early years of the band was fronted by female singer (Yaprak) and the sound was more like '77 punk rock and Oi! influenced. After the singer (Ersin) replacement end of 2005, the band's music style has been changed from '77 veins to hardcore punk. During the years the band went through dozens of line-up changes except guitar player (founder member Can) and singer. After Can left the band by end of 2017, with the guitarist replacement (Onur) the band's music evolve into mixing its own hardcore punk roots with much more crusty and fast guitars.
    ---

Poster-iti formed in 2003 in Taksim, Istanbul. We changed a few band members 'till today and still have been playing locally. We hit the Germany in 2009 and made concerts in Schwabisch Gmünd (Esperanza), München (Juze Taufkirchen) and Chemnitz (Subway to Peter) including supporting with Rasta Knast. We're in DIY organization team called Wargasm Collective and try to develop political punk rock scene in Istanbul. Until today we played with bands like The Exploited, Oi Polloi, The Restarts, Daily OD, The Ex in Istanbul. Also intend to play shows in Europe and arrange more shows in Istanbul with punk bands from UK and Europe help to punk scene grow in Istanbul

It's just like saying "I hate churches" when you live in america.
They live in istanbul and mosques are definitely plentiful, Islam being the prominent religion there.
I'm sure it's not exclusively islam they disapprove of either

First off do you know this for a fact? Secondly I already knew everything you just said, and the band should be able to comment for themselves don't you think?
