    Name's Tyler or Rabbit.
From Hyde Park (Chicago) -> Suburbs -> currently Lincoln Park
Got into punk back in high school, still enjoying the local scene.
Especially into D-beat/crust. Favorite bands are generally Swedish/Finnish 80's stuff like Anti Cimex, Mob 47, Avskum, Kaaos, Tampere SS as well as newer crust type stuff.
I've played guitar/bass/drums in various local groups, made a total of $12.50 as a musician.
Growing up in the suburbs leaves me with a distaste for authority (fucking suburban cops) as well as capitalism (spoiled rich kids). Religion is a given (Look up Wheaton College if you want to know more about the evangelical hell where I grew up).
If anything I'd consider myself an anarcho-syndicalist. I'm staunchly opposed to Nazism and fascism. Despite being straight, I'm a supporter of gay rights. Despite not being in a union, I support them.

    xD

Do you really have a distaste for capitalism because of the spoiled rich kids?
I've heard that this forum is an anarcho-punk forum, punk doesn't ask where you come from ;)

And this kids are just the product of capitalism as well as managers, etc. It's the system which makes them to what they are.
You won't change anything if you fight against them. There isn't a form of capitalism in which we are equal, earn the same (that doesn't mean that i want everyone to earn the same, it's just because of your statement), etc. A human-capitalism or something like that doesn't exist. So Fight the fucking system, not the people!!

No, I don't personally hate anyone for their wealth or lack thereof. The spoiled rich kids aren't the only thing wrong with the economic system, just a single sign of its hypocrisy. And I agree with the sentiment of fighting the system rather than individuals. I have distaste for the system of capitalism, not the individuals. They can't help what they were born with any more than the middle or lower classes can.

Don't misread my statement. I meant that where I grew up influenced me by my reaction against its status quo, not that I hate people with money. There are a lot of cool people out in the suburbs. But sometimes it's the shitty ones that affect you most.
