    @trevor

Phobia, Extreme Noise Terror, old Napalm Death (Scum album is t3h BOMB), Warsore, and Sore Throat are the ones that come right to mind. I'm sure DRTP will have something to add to this :p

Also, I don't think Insect Warfare are really political, but just good grindcore in a similar vein to Phobia and definietly worth checking out.

GOOD BANDS. One of my all time favs (that i don't think was mentioned) is STATE OF FEAR

    Also:
Skitsystem, Massgrave, Nuclear Death Terror, Consume, Pisschrist, Deformed Conscience, Hellshock, Gallhammer (sound-wise at least)
(And classics Doom,Amebix, E.N.T. Extinction Of Mankind).

I like the really angry, grinding, nihilistic sounding shit the most

Seeing my list from a few weeks ago there's so much I can think of now that I should have put on there....aah everytime I do a list like this I end up thinking of a dozen more every time the subject is brought up again anyways though (that's what the "+ a shit ton more" is for haha). I'll just say Instinct Of Survival and After The Bombs really deserve to be there (especially since I've been blasting a lot of both lately :) )

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Assuck, Terrorizer, Nasum, Benumb, Unholy Grave, Agathocles, Brutal Truth are a few (not necessarily anarcho, though Assuck and Benumb definitely are, and I'm pretty sure Unholy Grave and Agathocles are too, all pretty lefty though anyways)

in addition to the bands already mentioned, mass grave, righteous pigs, rotten sound, social infestation... i'm not sure if all of those are explicitly anarchist but they all have politically radical material

^Massgrave are DEFINITELY anarchist (only reason I didn't mention them was I was thinking of more "pure" Grind rather then Grind/Crust...Massgrave fucking rule though, so fucking good)

    After the Bombs
    Antisect
    Aus-Rotten
    Doom
    Skitsystem
    Sore Throat
    Warcollapse

I think Magrudergrind is political, but if you want good shit (because Grind can either be more Punk (E.N.T., Dropdead, Siege) or Metal (Repulsion, Napalm Death [post-scum], AnB), therefore not all of it is punk and you'll have fucking metalheads biting at your ankles, freaking out that you like 'Grindcore') go for Powerviolence.
Most PV bands are a lot like Grind, but a lot of them have precise stops starts, slowdowns, and speed-ups (If that's an real problem at all). But also PV doesn't split between metal and punk related bands, so no suburban ankle-biting metalheads ^_^. Check out Man is a Bastard, Spazz (bit more silly), xBrainiax, Charles Bronson, and Real Reggae.
