just saw em live and was stoked on how great of a show it was and was wondering what you guys think of them
Not really a fan, although outside of Toxic Holocaust and Evil Army, I'm not really a fan of "modern thrash". I like older shit, like Sodom, Onslaught, Slaughter, and Sacrilege. That said, at least they're not death/metalcore or shitty "tech death".
also not that what i like. they make to much of that "true metal" shit and sometimes sound like hammerfall and manowar
I like 'em. Don't see the Hammerfall/Manowar connection (maybe just 'cause I like Skeletonwitch but hate those bands?), sure they've got plenty of Iron Maiden type melodies, but those melodies sound good, and SW still have plenty of Thrash, Death, and Black Metal in 'em as well...
I agree Skeletonwitch puts on a really great show I saw them about a year ago with Cannibal Corpse then again I seem to have alot better concert experiences in smaller venues I awarded myself bonus points for slamming around where my old man used to watch movies back in the day.
