My name's Jeremy (a.k.a. Maggot) and I am the screamer and lead guitarist for a band from Victorville, California called The Liberi. The reason I formed the band was so I could stay out of jail basically. I'm from Big Bear City and there's nothing to do up here other than get in trouble with the cops. I came across this forum after joining another anarchist forum over at http://anarchistcommune.webs.com and somebody from this forum put up a link so I thought I'd come check it out. On a side note: Is there a way I can upload an album on here using a Mac? I don't have a PC.
Welcome! I'm not sure about uploading on a mac, I'm sure its possible though... try following this thread: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4632 but you'll need a program that can zip and unzip WinRAR files, like this one: http://www.unrarx.com/ the rest should be the same
hey welcome! Just got back from big bear, and yeah small city means more police out looking for someone to bust. But the snow was nice! and yeah as for uploading music using a mac its easy. On the Desktop go to file and create a new folder. Drag the albums songs into this folder, then go to File->Create Archive the computer will create a zip. file of this folder. Then use mediafire(website) to upload an album online. From there you should be able to upload the album on to here using the instructions on this site.
I don't see "Create Archive" in the File drop-down menu. Since I use a Mac OS X with a Leopard operating system and my band's record has 21 tracks on it, does "Compress 21 items" mean the same as "Create Archive"? ***EDIT*** Disregard the above question. I think I figured out what I need to do now.
Maggot did you ever post on flag.blackened.net? I used to go on that forum years back, then I forgot my password and it became really complicated to post, so I'd just browse it. There was a Maggot in band that used to post on there - just wondering if it's a coincidence or no.
