I am interested in members opinions on anarcho-punk music fanzines and how the reading and production of those fanzines have helped in your interaction with and understanding of anarcho-punk music. How do you use fanzines to gain a better understanding of the scene and how important are they to you in gaining this understanding? What do you think is significant or important about zines within the Anarcho-punk scene? Are you a fan of print versions of anarcho-punk zines or a fan of web based anarcho-punk zines and why?
I would be grateful for any constructive responses/replys
    Many thanks

Re: ANARCHO-PUNK FANZINES AND ANARCHO-PUNK MUSIC

Personally, I like both. But most convenient web-zines as you can easily find a particular intresting article or interview. From my favorite print versions of zines I liked Profane Existence, Back to Front, Agitate, Diversiya (Sabotage), Rebel Desire.

Thanks Sen I. What in particular though did you/do you like about the Zines? Why were/are they important to you? How do they help you understand the scene or connect with the music?

Wow.. Not bad! All right... Me likes to the zines, that you can find a lot of relevant information. For example the last time, I'm looking for biographies of different bands or interesting articles related with the protests or resistance punk by period of the eighties to UK and U.S. Important are they to me? Of course even as important! Helps for me understand the scene or connect with the music? Well... For me, certainly more important effect of the movement anarcho-punks, that is to say actions than scene. Because the scene is just a place for relaxation, although its purpose as a report to the consciousness of the listener or lifting the morale has not changed. However, some articles from zines often shows experience of scenes that can be used to target assistance to charities for fund raising money for political prisoners.

Pooh... While I think that's all. Still have questions? I'm with pleasure to answers it ;) .
