sounds very good dude, I find it hard though to find structure in the lyrics which works pretty good for me but it might be hard on some others :p
you should def. keep the acoustic thing going sounds pretty fucking awesome vocals are a little too clear for my taste a little more rawness is more my thing but hey to each his/her own I guess :p

I'm not challenging what you're saying, but just don't quite understand it, what do you mean by it being hard to find structure in the lyrics? like the syllables and rhythms aren't repetitive enough and change too often?

And I would LOVE to be able to do some rougher vocals but I'm just not very good at it haha, I've written songs before with a Stza Crack/Big C vocal style in my head but then I actually have to do it clean cuz I can't do it haha. Gonna keep working on it though, not getting it as rough as them but getting a bit more of a roughness to it to give a fuller sound.

Glad you enjoyed it man, just let me know what you mean by that vocal structure thing. I want to know so I can improve! haha. The thing is I became a musician because I'm not too good with words and stuff so I needed another way to communicate and I felt writing songs did that for me but then I don't write songs technical enough just to me instrumental, I need the vocals in there so I'm constantly trying to work on them to make them better so any criticism and help is appreciated so I know what to do to get better :)

Good job Jordan keep at it, I'm sure these songs would flesh out nicely with a full Ska band behind them, your voice slightly reminded me of a young Dave Wakeling, slightly don't get crazy...

well yeah basically that. it's just that it is not the standard rhyming structure you see mostly which I like cuz it's something new an improvement so to speak. but it could also just be that I don't hear it or can't get it right in my head (dyslexia y'know XD) but anyway I wouldn't change it as I said I like the way it's chaotic but still sounds good I wish I could manage to do that :p
(oh wise master please teach me the way's of the song with no structure :ecouteurs: )

Yeah for my next project I think I'm gonna record some proper full band stuff, either heavyish punk stuff like this one I did http://soundcloud.com/jordandelap/this-fucking-cycle or try out putting bass and drums behind some acoustic stuff for a fuller sound. I want to do both, it's just a case of which one I do first.
Thanks for the words of encouragement :)
