    used to like CRS....squatter's paradise 7" and Run Your Pockets LP are the only CRS albums i revist from time to time.

    and although i don't listen to Mouth Sewn Shut, they do have a good point with the drug trade, a point many "punx" often forget admist their own self-interest, including that arsehold stza

    and also, fuck CRS bands for defending school shootings, or at least making a joke out of it-- i don't think it's cute or rebellious to talk about that shit in the way they do. and if they're trying to prove a point otherwise, than i failed to see that point

    This, though kids who listen to Leftover Crack and suddenly start talking about how much they love "Crust Punk" when they don't even know who Amebix, Doom, Nausea, etc, are, and would probably be unable to handle those bands if they heard them, are even more annoying to me.

    AGREED SO MUCH. That and the pseudo-satanic imagery make it really hard for me to take them seriously, just more insipid "shock-punk" bullshit, even when some songs do have good (though not necessarily well written) lyrics.
