    What about A.P.P.L.E.?

I picked up a discography the other day, the vocals take a while getting used to, but still pretty good stuff. Comments?

Lost Cherrees are great. There are also a lot of fantastic non-Anarchist female fronted punk bands; Siouxsie, the Runaways, Blondie, X-Ray Spex, Joan Jett, Vice Squad, X, the Avengers, Penetration, the Muffs, Distillers, Banner of Hope, New York Rel-X, th Devotchkas, etc.

i don't really think you can consider them anarcho (they are more grind than anything), but Skarp is awesome and the female vocalist has the best voice out of any female i've ever heard.

Only band i can think of not mentioned is 'scum of toytown'. They did a great tune called jackboot parade, but not heard much by them nor am i even sure they're still going. If you wanna hear a fairly open minded female fronted oi band try deadline, not anarcho mind ya, but some of the lyrics are well informed and from my point of view it's always good to see more women have influence in a male dominated scene, (Oi that is).

Just had a thought- are 'Tilt' anarcho? I think they're on that hellcat label and only heard a song or two by them, but they sound ok. Not got a clue about their politics though- other than one of their songs seems to have a feminist theme to it.

too bad you didn't get the CD i sent you manda. SCHIFOSI is the best. the lyrics still blow me away (and i thought i was good at lyrics), let alone their overall brutality. and people compare them to TRAGEDY. the latter pale in comparison, not coz the SCHIFOSI BEARS are my friends, but because they're just so much better and original. did you see them over when they toured?
