if anyyone ever took the time to look into gg allin (hes a great candidate if your into psychoanalyzing people)you would realize hes a very intelligent guy with psychotic tendencies who advocated taking life to the extreme. He goes in and out of lucid and psychotic moments during interviews, more so in he later years, due to mental illness and drug abuse. During the lucid time he advocated living simply material wise, trying to maximize the pleasure in life, and taking war against society for crushing ones individuality creativity and animal instincts.

I couldn't really give a fuck if you think someone has to be a braindead moron for liking something you don't understand, but here's my thoughts on GG allin:

First off that rape shit is bogus. It's something the media sensationalized and GG propagated himself. He claims he raped dozens of women at his shows, but he was only charged with rape once and it was complete bullshit if you read the story. You really think he's going to get away with rape in front of crowds of people, with owners and staff watching? It was shocking and built up his legend. Truth is he didn't rape anyone, he just fucked random sluts on stage and called it rape to scare people.

Scumfucks. Live Fast Die Fast. GG allin set out to prove that the human is an animal just like any other, and any thought otherwise is a delusion of grandeur. Normality is a facade rigorously enforced by a society that demands the mundane, artificial, and ignorant to keep the cattle in line. Sex, drugs, and violence was the only way to emphasize his individuality and spread a message adequately loud enough to be heard. These things are all primal aspects of life and he wanted to show that it IS possible to live the way you want to. Nothing is too outlandish, too taboo, too WRONG. Because at the end of the day morality is a human construct and there is no such thing as right or wrong. He felt like he had the right to live on his own terms and I'll back him up on that.

His psychopathic behavior all had deeper meaning. It was all an act. GG allin is a persona he used to lash out against everything and everyone who tried to put him down. He wanted people to think "what has the world done to GG allin to produce such a pathetic excuse for a human being". If you look at all his interviews, you'll notice that GG allin progressively becomes more offensive and crude the more attention he garnered. It would better serve his purpose the more people hated him. In real life he was a *relatively* normal guy who had sunday evening dinner with his mom every week and he was known off stage as a genuine person.

GG allin was the human animal. It was all so obvious, the dog collar, the shitting, the fucking, the fighting, the perversity. Like it or not he was anarchy. But I don't expect people who actively try to be more PC to understand things beyond what's immediately placed in front of them, or thinking for that matter.

the only part i disagree with is that his psychosis was an act. He definately suffered psychiatrically in some ways, he was diagnosed borderline personality disorder and if you watch him he definately shows the symptoms.

To quote a year old post:

Though I also think the guy had some deep mental illness. I don't think he had any cognitive abilities to create deeper hidden meanings in what he did.

Amen brother. Too many people hurting and hungry out in our communities to be preoccupied being shocking. If your actions don't further a good cause, then fuck you and fuck off.

The line should be drawn to what is psychologically damaging. A few bruises or broken bones in a pit isn't gonna fuck you up in the head for the rest of your life. The pain enhances those experiences and you rememeber them forever. But fuckin being raped on stage and fighting for your life can be a dramatically traumatizing experience that can have long term effects. I think thats where the line should be drawn.

As an queer anarchist and a feminist, I don't fuckin care for someone who promotes rape and violence towards women because whether it was fake or not, he still said it was okay to rape.

i'm sorry man, but beliefs, ideas, intentions, etc. mean nothing. actions are what define us. our outward actions on ourselves and our enviornment. GG allin was a rapist and a psychopath. it is what it is.
