What is the survival rate of a PoisonGirlfriend?

    Hmmm..... good question.

I shall give it some thought and ask around.

Personally, about 9 years plus so far! <3 :ecouteurs:

Guess Poison Girls gave me a head explosion when I saw them around 1986 in berlin - so I don't care about polish and things and turds...
btw: the download discography is a brilliant idea, the late poison is still hard to get - so future thanx!

CHippaquidick bridge is an an amazing album, one of my favorites of the Crass Records catalog. The same goes for the All Systems Go Single... amazing stuff, just because you son't like it doesn't mean it is shit Kaos-shmoo... (not that anyone here should care about the opinions of one named KAOS when most of feel that associating that with anarchism is ppathetic.)

Yep, CHippaquidick Bridge and All Systems Go Single would be fine, I lost All Systems somehow and never found the bridge - ah and this Pollen Festival Bootleg (was there an "official" release?) is a completely unknown gem too...
If there is anything we can do for you - give a word - and my respects to Mother Subversa!

We are just sorting out the finer details and hopefully the songs will be available for download shortly.

As for the Pollen Festival Bootleg, do you have anymore details? I found a reference to the 17th August 1988 but official sources deny all knowledge. There was no gigs on that date and nothing going on. So anything you can tell me would be gratefully received. If it is out there as a bootleg, it really is a bootleg and nothing the Band know about. If anyone has a copy, please pm me.

As for help - please just spread the word.

This website is for the Poisongirlfriends and you can comment on the Blog.

    Thanks, appreciated.

I only know somebody who had it but we never managed to make a tape untill I left England - but I'll contact her and ask for details - from what I remember the date of the gig must have been well before 1988 and I saw it mentioned somewhere in a discography, but...

Poison Girls were a great band who often seem over looked these days despite their huge importance to the anarcho punk movement. I was lucky enough to see them at Vi Subversa's 60th birthday gig at the Astoria in London in 1995 with Zounds, Omega Tribe and Penny Rimbaud and Eve Libertine. Great gig.
