Punk is dead?

Punk is dead when you start criticizing other genres of music (and actually spend money to support your hate). Im sorry but the whole "fuck emo" movement is fucking stupid and close-minded.

 

well fuck emo isnt stupid as a fuck hippies. I mean punks were made from hippies right?

 

I find them both equally ridiculous and stupid. Music is music, we have no right to judge others by what they listen to, especially when we listen to what we listen to.

Punk was Alive and well in 1977, it was being called dead by 1980. By 1982 Punk was at it's highest demand yet... By 1985 everyone thought it died again. Then with a glimpse of home in the 1990's there was a Punk revival. Everything comes around, but Punk never did die. It's just Underground right now and waiting for it's next wave of Punk bands. I am only 14 and I listen to Punk bands that were around 10 years before I was born. I am actually trying to start a Punk band. Just like Wattie said in a sorta recent interview: If Punk was dead then I wouldn't be doing it. It can never die or be killed because it cannot be defined. You cannot kill what you did not create. It's alive. End of discussion.

I have a reason saying "fuck emo". Cutting yoursefe isnt exit from some problem. you must face it. And yeah, most emos are kids, so they follow fashion. Fuck them to. sorry, if thats not to anarhist from me, but I cant just watch someone cutting himself, and is always sad, have many problems, no one understands him. No one understands me either, and Im not that sad. I dont think we should kill emos. Just to make them "happy", so they realize, cutting isnt the way.

Self-cutting for a emotional relief is a symptom for a serious personality disorder, I think it's part of the so called borderline-syndrome - but I'm no psydoc, one of my former neighbors daughters went to the psychiatry for this.
She was "emo" too, but I guess not every emo has a serious personality disorder, so this cutting-habit in the emo-scene seems a bit strange to me, for some it seems to be a lifestyle-thing - but again, I know only three or four of them and so I just wonder...
I don't think that it's acceptable to "let" a person suffering from symptoms of a personality disorder "have their way", if they can't deal with the hard side of life in another way, they need help to overcome their suffering.
I don't think they are stupid, but their state of mind isn't healthy, sometimes my drinking habits aren't that healthy too, so I'm quite thankful if someone isn't that tolerant and gives me a well meant kick in the ass...
It's a question of common sense, which is a basic of anarchism too, butt-kicking works for me, it mustn't work for emos...

Anyway, if you dont understand what am I saying, dont comment. I said, in my opinion, that emos are stupid. calling someone stupid doesnt have to mean I hate him, it just means that I dont see the point in it. And, also, most of emos are kids, who are about 15-16 and they are acting like others, trying to be popular in groups.
