Im 14 to and i have braces, and it deffinitly doesnt make you a poser. The worst thing you will ave tp to worry aabout is the terrible pain when you get them on. You will deffinitly be happy after you're brace are done and youll have nice teeth, i dont know how bad you teeth are now tho sooo. Yeh braces are very expensive and alot of people wont have the money for it. Mabye gettin a job or something to help out, just an option if your concernced she can pay the bills.

I can't tell if people are messing about or if there really are a lot of 14 year olds on here. Makes me feel fucking ancient! I didn't know what anarchism really meant until I was 16 and wasn't willing to fully call myself an anarchist for another 5, prefering libertarian socilaist before that.

With regards to braces, get them if you want them, don't if you don't. I have never looked down on someone because they have the 'bourgeois privilege' of having corrective metal in their mouth.
