Ok, I have a problem. I have a friend, and he goes in a "bad" highschool, if you know what I mean. So, i talked to him, and he said the school is full of "nazis" and racists. But, they are just kids ( i mean 15,16,17 years) and are acting like idiots. So how can someone/we change that? We cant do anything, becouse my city is fulled with nazis ( which are not actually nazis, they are more like racists and think that they are supirior to our nighbours , but its connected to our past, which doesnt matter at the moment) and if we try to do anything we will be screwed..Yeah my question is how do anarhist handle this situations when kids are being stupid ? Sometimes I think that they dont have parents becouse I dont know who learned them that, but it definitly has to stop.

Are they being racist towards you? Or just in general?

You said your town is full of nazis, well those young kids are nazis just to follow the trends, same thing happen on towns with a lot of punks and antifa : young kids who doesnt give a shit about the real fight become antifa and punk just to follow the trends.

In an anarchist society the vast majority would be antifascist so the kids would just follow them, and even if its not the case a 15-16 years old kid isn't a threat for safety, and if he is, antifas will deal with him.

sounds to me like you are living in one part of the former yugoslavia? if yes, i would guess it's a mix of ultra-nationalism and (depending where you live) this nazi-ustascha/tschetnik weirdos coming back after the bosnia-war, when neo-nationalism became a part of the separating partial republics propaganda.
i live in germany and we have some exiles who had to come here after they got in serious trouble in their homeland, so don't do anything on your own - stay safe and try to contact anti-fa or anti-racist groups to get more and better advice.

even if they are young and stupid they may have a solid concept of the enemy and a dangerous need for an easy target. most of them aren't that self-confident, thats why they follow the general trend and look for support of a group. they might tend/try to proove themselves in the eyes of their group - thats where they become dangerous because they will act as a group and it's very unhealthy to become a target for this, it's like a stigmatisation and hard to get rid of again.

yes, it definitely has to stop, but you really need support to do something about it. i know it's hard just to watch them them with clenched fists - but you and your friend don't stand a chance against them as long as you are all alone, so you need to get support and backup by an antifa- or antiracist group.
if you can't find contact to groups or organisations, just post again or pm me and i will try to find a contact in your area. good luck, and stay safe!

To answer you question about "dealing with it," I would say that Ungovernable is correct. Those kids are just mislead. They're impressionable youth. We see it everyday. The important thing is for your friend to stand against that, not necessarily putting himself in harms way, but to certainly show no interest in racist activity. To not conform to their ways. Maybe those other kids would see him in that respect and cease their hateful activity... its unlikely, but surely he isn't the only person in the school with decent morals.

As for safety... we all know what the brainwashed youth of fascism is capable of. Its horrible; and there are safety concerns. Lil' Apple is right. You should get in contact with your local Antifa or ARA.

    Just be careful.

Yeah, I am. And half of population here still hate each other, calling bad names if your surname ends with some letters and so on..

But its not like "some kids" are being racists nazis and patriotic, i would say half of them, maybe more ( its always connected to football, and football is very famous sport around here). I know they are mislead, they are trying to prove something, but they ARE proving something by beating up punks or someone. they are proving that they can outnumber us, and that they can fight us and win. And thats the problem. How can we deal with nazis when there is too much of them ?

There are some antifa organizations, but they are small, and most members are 30 years old ( my friends brother is in one, he says they are not doing very well).
But, also there are some "anarcho" organizations ( more like syndicats, but it works just like anarcho) but I cant get to them, dont know where are they, who can I contact or something.

shit, somehow i knew it, bad luck, even worse after all i was reading in the last weeks on german antifa-sides - "their" shit seems to be spreading, from marko perkovic/thompson in TV, to jadranka kolarevic still in the HTV.
first thing to do: even if they don't do well right now, ask your brother or his group for contacts, and keep looking around elsewhere.
i will contact a group we know near zagreb, last thing i heard from them weeks ago was that they are in trouble too, after taking on a fight with a local group of ustascha-fascists who got support from elsewhere.
but at least they might know other contacts to ask for support or advice.

from what i have heard or seen on german antifa-sides, the whole country made a step too far to the right, so it's easy for them to outnumber you - and i guess not even the cops will "notice" them.
it's the same here, but the scum we have to deal with is now low on numbers and we have the support of the majority of immigrants, so they are confronted by the people if they try to harass a single person on the street.
being the unsupported minority is not healthy, it might be important for your situation to find out if "they" are already organized or influenced by the ustascha (wearing symbols, using salutes like "za dom spremni", U-graffitti on the walls or antisemitic slogans) - or if they are just a "few more" kits looking for trouble.

if there is any evidence that they are organized - be even more careful, there are rumors around of lists with names of "known enemies", and i think it's the last thing you need, to get your name written down on one of those lists.

Well, contacting the Syndicalists or MUR won't do you much good, trust me. It's really easy to find like minded people you can always go to Medika and ask somebody for info on what is going on and try to get involved. I know it may seem like another world as most of those people are much older than you, but don't expect anything if you don't even try. I'm just not sure what kind of help do you expect? If you are thinking of physical confrontation be prepared to get hurt and badly at that... Sometimes knowing that there are other like minded people can be all the support you need...

The bad thing is, like bakica wrote: "population here still hate each other" - and this hatred started early in the 90's when tito died and the former yugoslavia fell apart into separate partial republics. both of the main separate states, croatia and serbia, were led by ultra-nationalists using using racist and imperialistic propaganda to cover the lack of reason for the separation - leading to the bosnia war 1992 - 1995 and later to the kosovo ware 1998/1999. To give the non-europeans at least a wiff of the situation (and keep in mind that this is only second hand information, not an actual view whats going on):
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosnian_War
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosovo_War
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_cleansing
    http://libcom.org/search/apachesolr_search/croatia
    http://libcom.org/history/short-history ... re-croatia
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croatian_P ... _incidents
    http://libcom.org/news/masa%E2%80%99s-o ... r-03072009

So I agree with Lil about:
Bakica, first thing to do: Stay safe and to do so, stay away from "them" - It's frustrating to see the rot spreading and it's hard to accept their current advantage of numbers or acceptance within the "normal" society, but getting in trouble may hurt you very badly and it would change nothing, just another "incident" like what happened in Pula or Dubrovnik five years ago.
Contact every avaliable antifa- or anti-racist group and ask for advice about the situation - I think they can't give you direct support, but they speak your language and see the situation more clearly than "we" can, relying mostly on second hand information and living far away from your area.
Think about getting punks and other people together, who are endangered by "their" actions - but be careful not to catch "unwanted" attention, if you decide to do it, do it privately and not in open public, avoid at all cost be become a "known enemy".

Lil already contacted some friends of us near Zagreb and we're waiting for their reply. If they think they could help you deal with this mess, we will send you a private message how to contact them.
And keep on informing us here whats going on, even if we can't help you directly, at least we can let you know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Be careful and stay safe!

I dont have direct problems with them ( yeah, sure they have asked me hounderes of times why are you antifa and so on..but never got beaten). Im frustrated becouse I dont know how to get rid of them, and when I try I cant find any way to do it. Trying to be an activist in my years is hard, i know.
Ok, I see you all know something about yugo past. The main problem is that parents teach their kids to hate neightbours, becouse they will "always stay same" which doesnt mean anything. I have a lot of antifa friends, no one of them got into big trouble, but probably will becouse as Im getting older Im starting to think "they cant to shit to me, im punk - ill fight back." And of course, the main problem is football. I live in a capital city of croatia, and football is as I said really popular here. all these guys that love football are patriotic ( which, in this part of europa means, nazi and racists.).

I really appriciate your help guys. I know it sounds stupid, but when you have no one to talk to, you start to hate everyone :p

So - thank punk - your situation isn't "hot"...
Because of the little we know, Lil and me were quite a bit worried and it's really good to see that it isn't "that" worse - besides that it is still worse - of course.
I have seen some weird things when I was assisting to transport humanitarian aid from the german red cross down to sarajevo after the krajina-offensive and the cease fire, and I still have friends in zagreb who actually have trouble with organized boneheads after some recent clashes.
Here in germoney we work with some people who left croatia because they live in serbic/croatian intermarriage, a few more left because of their "serbic" familynames - too bad to live in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Don't feel too bad about this crisis in your country, yes, it's hard just to watch whats going on, but it may be not safe just to fight back, so be careful if you decide to do something to change the situation.
And maybe it helps to overcome bad feelings and frustration by starting to get into contact with groups or others who share your point of view - and even football may be a good point to start:
Despite the official german national-flag-waving absurdity, we still play football with people from our area, regardless to attitude, ethnic or gender, it's just for fun and good for the local community.
And even past-time enemies from croatia and serbia get together just for the fun of it.

I would deal with it via some skin-bashing, but I was a Sharp for about a year and a half. I hung up my boots afterwards, but I still bring them back in on occasion. Its incredibly annoying too, since I work with an Aryan Nation gentleman (seriously, he's flashed the fucking symbol at me like three times) and I can't do anything about it. Your best bet would be to tell him to just ignore them unless they bother him personally. If they outnumber him that bad and start causing some serious trouble, unite all the punks around and fix the problem.
