Thought I should probably introduce myself since I've been posting a bunch. Sorry if I'm annoying anybody. From Oregon, Portland-area. Bassist. Communist/Anarchist. Into Anarcho/Hardcore/Grindcore/Thrash and some acoustic stuff. And thank you whoever started this site for giving us something truly admirable! Hello everybody!

Why thank you! And of course, man. There's not much Anarcho, but since you asked I gotta promote my friends band 'Final Offense'. (myspace.com/finaloffense) But of course you know MDC still plays the occasional random acoustic set. (Haha). And then there's always Leave No One Behind, Hammered Grunts, and Kurt's Kids. (Kurt's Kids is also some high school kids who are in Dr.Loomis too. Which is more of a thrashcore thing)
i have seen final offense a couple of times when they come down to salem to play the wasteland-pretty good band. and in my opinion i think oregon is a great place to be-not much bullshit to deal with like long beach california ha
Oregon's population of hippies is running dry. In Eugene at least. Nothing but yuppies now, and hicks are taking over.
It's still running strong. Poison Idea and MDC are still out playing shows, and new bands are popping up all over the place. Raise Your Fist: I can kinda see that, but there's still a lot of hippies. They just take the form of 'hipsters' now.
