Does anybody else think she's a mega-babe? I mean seriously. She handles a Rickenbacker better than any guy, and she can scream 10 times better than any guy.

I mean, seriously. 10 out of 10 for sure.

    What do you think?

attractive sure :p. but im a total critic id say average playing. not to sure thoe only youtubed a video, but all i saw was the average bad bass player sadly, nothing fancy, no harmonics, chords, arpeggios, gallops, bends, staccato ect, just the classic washtub single note that everyone seems to do. im biased for sure, but most really good players always have a good performance, and what i saw was average so probably not so great. then again im always hypercritical of bassists but thats because they never usually try to do anything cool. i mean the instrument is potentially more dynamic with more possibilities then a guitar, i mean you can do everything you can on a guitar, accept the strings are so thick/have such mass you can make percussive sounds like pop and snap. for me its totally unacceptable to just strum and play opens/singles.

Well, she's no Mike Scott (for those who don't know, the bassist from Econochrist) but she still blows me away. (With her looks and playing, hah.)
But while we're on the topic of amazing bass players, you should look up The Rebel Spell. The past bassist was amazing. And she was beautiful. (I'm not meaning to sound like a sexist bigot, sorry if I come off that way..)

well not using a bass to its full potential i.e. playing hard using the powerfull "Attack" means that you suck at bass. i mean you wouldnt be a good dummer if all you could play was softly, if you were afraid to hit the drum hard/aggressively, no you'd be a horrible drummer. a bass isnt like a guitar it has thick strings that you can snap really hard, to the point of literally wrecking high quality subwoofers, where on a guitar it barely gets any increase in volume/attack at picking harder, and will just break the strings. on bass you can pull the strings up an inch or 2 and snap it making aloud powerfull thump, you can slap the strings hard enough that it hurts your hand it just gets louder, more attack, and more percussive. if your not going to use the feature your not any good, i mean its like playing drums and not using a cymbals, playing a guitar with a vibrato bridge and never using it. your a horrible bassist if all you do is static picking with opens and single notes, i mean its not like your trying to convey an emotion besides being a robot, no you cant possibly be angry, and play hard, or be aggressive and play faster, no you just play the same every time all the time, regardless of the song/situation just boring static playing.

No dork it doesn't mean you can't do it , it means you think that sound is for goofy Flea wannabe's, I can pop slap a bass but I don't because I think that sound is really lame, I guess that means I suck at the bass according to your incredible insights. I also have a guitar-smith remove or permanently lock down vibarato systems not because I can't play the fuck out of them, but because I simply hate that sound, it's wanky. So for you to say she sucks because she plays in an aggressive straight-forward manner as she's screaming at the top of her lungs is ass backwards. You could say "I don't care for that sound", or "that type of music sucks it isn't for me, I prefer....." but instead you say,

is a way over the top pretentious-assed guitar wanker speak, get over yourself. Oh and by the way where are your brilliant, head splitting, mind blowing recordings?

to find attractive women, like, attractive, isn't really that sexist. However, should you judge a bass player purely on the basis of yr desire to have sex with them, then yeah, thats kinda objectifying ppl. ;)

Oh, no! It's not like that at all. I totally respect her because she is an amaaazing bassist. Super energetic, but as she's jumping and head banging, she's playing mind blowing, stand out bass lines. That's the first thing I noticed, I heard their music first before I went to the show and I was like, "Where the fuck did this person come from?! That's a classy bass player right there!" before I knew she was a girl. :)
