Your a bastard Michael, UK82 is what its all about don't tarnish an entire subgenre with the same brush just because Wattie is an idiot. Fuck all the crusty tripe that goes on this forum get a real education in punk music: UK82 for all intensive purposes includes elements of anarcho, Oi or thrash, this is purely for convenience so don't grill me too much for this list:

1st offence, Abrasive Wheels, Accused, Accursed, Acid Attack, Action Pakt, Anti-Pasti, Anti-Social, Attak

Blitz, Blitzkrieg, The Blood, Broken Bones, Business

Cadaverous Clan, Carnage, Chaos, Chaos UK, Chaotic Dischord, Chaotic Youth, Charge, Chron Gen, Concrete, Corpse, Court Martial, Criminal Class, Cult Maniax, Crux

Dark, Dead Katts (Chaotic Dischord), Dead Mans Shadow, Dead Wretched, Death Sentence(!!!!), Defects, Demob, Destructors, Discharge, Disorder, Disrupters (could be considered anarcho), Drongos for Europe

Ejected, Emergency, The Enemy, English Dogs, Erazerhead, Expelled, Exploited (Rabble rabble rabble), External Menace

    Fallout, The Fiend, The Fits,

    GBH, Havoc, Hostile Youth

Indecent Assault, Instant Agony, The Insane, Instigators, Kronstadt Uprising

Left for Dead, Legion of Parasites, Lunatic Fringe (!!!!!)

Mad are Sane, Major Accident, Mau Maus, Mayhem(!!!), The Mental (with Dick Lucas!!), Metro Youth

No Choice, Oi Polloi, One way system, Onslaught \m/ , Oppressed, Organised Chaos

Partisans, Picture Frame Seduction, Polemic Attack, Potential Threat, Public Disgrace

Rabid, Red Alert, Resistance 77, Revulsion, Riot/Clone, Riot Squad,

Samples, Self Abuse, Septic Psychos, Sex Aids (Chaotic Dischord), Sinyx, Six Minute War, Skeptix, Solvent Abuse (!!!!), Special Duties, Stalag 17, Stench, Straps

Threats, Total Chaos (not the shitty american band), Ultra Violent, Undead, Uproar, Violators, Xpozez, Xtract(!!!)

Bands today that are influenced by UK82: Germ Attak, Corpse Gas, Kromosom, Leprosy, Further Charges, Raw'Arse, etc.

    Three things:
    1. Granted I'm a bastard, but did I say anything about the Exploited?
    2. Don't use my name dickhead, i'd like some degree of anonymity, lol.

How are they fashion punx? Whats wrong with looking good? I'm of the opinion you've based this on the fact I've lumped exploited in the list, would it surprise you to know that Death Sentence had two black members in the band? or that Blitzkrieg played a number of Animal liberation benefit shows? or that No Choice for all intensive purposes should be categorized as anarcho punk, the only reason their not is because they featured on the Riot City label. Listen to some of these bands before you make such harsh judgments they are a lot more musical and meaningful then any of the bands featured on Crass records.

first of all i said MOST of the bands on the list, second, sorry but some of those bands have them posing in their leather gear on the album covers, which turns me off to them. But the punk look is a whole other debate and off topic to this thread. Needless to say i'm probably a bit in the minority, but i am an anarchist far more then a punk.

Some UK82 is pretty good, but I find Crust, Grindcore, Powerviolence, D-Beat, and Thrashcore to be a lot more interesting. And the 2 UK82 bands I know the best both were also D-Beat too haha (Discharge and The Varukers)
