I wasnt going to post this, but dammit, i feel good about it!
Im doing volunteer work for a local food pantry giving food to
homeless people/families. I love watching the looks on their faces
when i give them food. :D

Sadly it is sponsored by a church though. But i still feel like im doing the right thing.

congrats too - its a great way to gain experience and its fun to work with people, so don't mind the christians, do it for yourself and the people you can support. it's time to stand up for what YOU believe.

I'm doing 'Food Not Bombs' tomorrow in downtown San Diego, at 6:00 pm on the corner of 16th and Island St. if anyone wants to come and help....

You are, but there are other options if you don't want to go through the church. Some food banks are non denominational. there's always Food Not Bombs. See if you have an community harvest/farm projects or other places of that nature, you won't serve anyone, but you can grow fresh fruits and veggies for them. And if nothing else, make a bunch of sandwiches and pass them out

The only reason im doing at this certain place rather than somewhere else is because
i have some family working there as well, and i guess they need help.

Met a lot of really great anarchists tonight, and they took me back to their 'Ninja Lair'....fed a lot of hungry homeless people and even had food left over....? Food Not Bombs SD is an outstanding example of an anarcho-syndicalist collective getting things done and having a good time doing it... :ecouteurs:

I will see if they have it in Eugene. I would love to meet actual anarchists
    for a change.
