you'll be fine, I did my left earlobe and right eyebrow recently and I was fine in the pit, the only trouble I had was when I was combing my hair the comb's teeth got stuck on my eyebrow and almost pulled out the piercing, needless to say it hurt, alot

I've been fighting to get my septum pierced for about 8 months. That's the only piercing I'm interested in right now. I have my ears pierced and I ordered some badass bone earrings last week (even though I'm vegan, I just couldn't resist). I don't go in the pit so I really can't offer you any guidance about that though, sorry.

Usually it's a good idea to wear plugs in a pit. I lost my stretcher a few weeks ago at a pogo (apart from that the gig was great).
And of course, it's a bad idea to wear long earrings and such.

But i've had my ears pierced with stretches for 3 years, and lip piercing for 2, and i've been in hundred of pits without any damage. Apart from an occasional hit on a not completely healed piercing, which hurts, but isn't dangerous.

Even if it isnt dengerous, just thinking about a earing ripping out in a mosh would make me not get out. But personaly i wouldnt get one cause i dont like them much.

I think heavy piercing on women is a total turnoff, other than that I don't care. Although I'd advise going to a professional.

It's just a 14 guage ring with the ball on it...starter piercing.

I don't intend on stretching it but I have mates who have and put their cigarette's in the holes sometimes for a laugh.

unless you have screwed on balls or backs or its a shut closed ring or whatever, you should leave em in at your own risk
ive lost countless plugs in a pit, and almost impossible to find it again. i just take em out before and put them back in after

Ooh, if it smells, they should probably stop stretching it so fast. Oy.

As far as piercings go, I have had my ear pierced for a while, at the pit, I just take it out and put the ring in my pocket. I guess right after getting it pierced you wouldn't be able to go moshing for a little while though.

Four in one ear and two in the other, all studs, don't have any problems wearing them in the pit. One of them hurts when putting on the motorcycle helmet though... :o

3 in one ear, 1 in other, mostly rings. Had them pulled out few times, never done any serious damage, just stings a bit.

Actually I had a stud with the back still on it, pulled right through my ear. Funnily enough it wasn't in the pit. I was giving my daughter a piggy-back ride and when she jumped down her sleeve caught the stud and pulled it through. Didn't really hurt until I realised what had happened and blood was pouring down my ear.

I've never lost plugs or had anything ripped out. I almost got my septum piercing ripped out by my little cousin but that's the closest i've come to anything of that nature.

It seems like your not supposed to start new threads if there are already similar ones.... SO I want to get some sort of interesting piercings done and possibly a couple tattoos - preferably in someplace concealable. Ideas?

well it depends on the style of clothing you wear for concealable, i mean if you always wear tshirts bicep/shoulder/chest and stuff you could have all tattoed whilest still looking "straight" if wear long pantz, ankle or w.e. = dont forget about brands :p aslong as you can deal with the smell of death they are pretty sweet.
