nothing wrong with guns, just most of the people who use them.

i'm glad you recognise yourself as classist, because i tire of people whinging about the middle class etc and then pretending they believe in equality. fortunately i've got friends from all backgrounds, and those who come from high places are often the most active suprisingly.

Socialist anarchist. I used to spend all my time in the DIY anarcho-punk scene, but the only sentiment here is that you have to 'fight the state' and make the right lifestyle choices, and then opression and capitalism will magically disappear. I need an analysis and a strategy that works, so I've turned to socialist anarchism after many years of thinking it over.

If it seems vague, I define my beliefs as the fact that capitalism and states are inequal in the extreme and destroys lives and the environment, and that I think an ideal society is ruled directly by the working class, with communities associating out of desire and free agreements as the norm, using the federalist principle rather than authoritarian frameworks like unions and nations.

To get there, I believe unifying the working class and agitating for it to take collective as well as direct action against capital and towards revolution, is key - this means fighting racism, homophobia, sexism and other forms of opression that divide us and turn us against one another are essential to get done before we turn to the class war.

Sorry for the wall of text, but it's a bit weird to sum stuff like that up in two words.

I believe sticking yourself to a political ideology other than the one you make yourself is a cultural suicide on what your individual entity is concerned.
What i mean is: By saying "i am an anarchist" you do submit to a given set of rules put out by the tinkers of anarchism in the first place, thus abolishing the very existence of anarchist thinking.
To me, my life is about being free and out of touch with the general public of society in an effort to disallow my bodily fluids to be infected with communism and other elements of mass destruction.

Altough i despise quoting bands, i think a//political made a great point with their song "its not about politics, its about life"..

I could not agree less. Anarchism is a political ideology, moreso than a philosophy, and it does have a long history that clearly defines it's goals, methods and strategies.

But hey, if you think doing whatever you want to makes you an anarchist, rock on, it's just not that accurate a description.

no no, what i meant was that i think its an overabundance of people claiming to be stuff and labeling themselves with fancy titles of political ideologies, rather than just doing stuff, you know..
i'd never hassle anyone for doing so as i recognize every person who labels themselves as an anarchist (to a certain extent) as a genuine person, i just think that in some cases there is a little too much focus on WHAT instead of WHO.
i don't mean to say that i'm on the high horse doing cool anarchist stuff all the time, cause i'm not. but i hope you get my point. churz

I'm a truthist, a common sensist, a realist. Haha. I don't go with just one ideology. No one ideology appeals to me, I have beliefs that fall under probably a few different ideologies. I have liberal views, some conservative views, working class viewpoints. I can't in all honesty say I belong to one definite ideology.

I like anarchists though, usually tend to be smart, bright, good people.

Dunno how I'd describe myself without writing a book on the subject! A bit of an anarchist/individualist I suppose! Though I don't really believe in anarchy, the human race is far too mixed up for that to work out in any peaceful sort of way... I'm anti nazi/fascist/capitalist, 99% vegetarian, like to grow my own food, into DIY and basically try to exist having as little to do with mainsream society as possible! So I suppose I'm also a bit of a hermit! I like to record/perform my own music...
