Speaking of Test Dept their second album Shoulder to Shoulder was done with the the South Wales Striking Miners Choir (All 90 of them!) So you get an album of workers anthems on per with Chumbawamba's English Rebel Songs or anything by Utah Phillips, but with guys beating the living shit out of oil drums in the back. Quite nice.

Surprised no one has mentioned ¡TchKung! yet.

Here's a description: An industrial act from Seattle in the Late 90’s, ¡TchKung! combined tribal drumming, scrap metal, fiddle use and anarcho-punk leanings into a potent mix.

Known for insurrectionary politics, incorporating traditional instruments and tribal/folk music into the scrap metal percussion and turbulent live shows digressing into street parades or molotov demonstrations, it was clear that unlike incitement to revolt, mainstream acceptance was never a goal. Fans of Cop Shoot Cop, Swans, or Crash Worship however will find much to enjoy.

Here's some of their work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pF2Le9ccI9E

I love Alien Sex Fiend for the fact that it proves that a singer has to have absolutely no vocal skills XD

True, but you can't find many frontmen with a better stage presence than Nik Fiend after what i've heard ;)

That's a thing i like about deathrock, there are many really different vocal styles, often some of the more experimental - just listen to Sex Gang Children, Christian Death, Ex-Voto and Cinema Strange, and you'll get an idea. All male-fronted major deathrock bands, but many different ways to use the vocals.

I like the goth classics i.e. Sisters of Mercy, Fields of the Nephilim, Swans, Bauhaus, Christian Death etc.

As for industrial it's a genre that's been muddled a lot since all the metal bands jumped on the wagon. But Laibach, Luftwaffe, Boyd Rice/NON and stuff like that I really like.

I really like reading all of this.

For a long time i've been an outcast amongst punks for dressing in black and wearing a lot of goth elements in the clothing (had a deathhawk instead of usual mohawk and all that) - and i've often met a lot of people who was convinced i loved capitalism, was only rebelling against my allowance money being to few and listening to marilyn manson to seem "evil". All of those idiotic stereotypes about "goths"

I like hearing that people in here actually is able to like both anarcho-punk and post-punk/goth stuff.

No idea! One of my favorites. Fantastic band.

But a strange band - right between first generation industrial and 3. generation post-industrial, combined with a good feel of no-wave and late post-punk. All the best stuff in one band, with added scrap metal!

Would Swans be considered industrial? I know they're an influence on the genre, at least. They're another big favorite of mine.

Definately not a fan of industrial,During my younger days i used to go to a lot of "Goth" clubs and the music just shitted me. I love the cure and i love gothic metal/doom metal ,but EBM & industrial bores me.

Right? And Skinny Puppy. Old Skinny Puppy anyway. I kinda dig power electronics like Winterkalte and Brighter Death Now too. Not too big on the world of Goth though.
