" It also requires local police officers to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are illegal immigrants; allows lawsuits against government agencies that hinder enforcement of immigration laws; and makes it illegal to hire illegal immigrants for day labor or knowingly transport them."

this is so ridiculous. atleast obama TRIED to stop it... ugh reading this was the worst part:
"It's going to change our lives," said Emilio Almodovar, a 13-year-old American citizen from Phoenix. "We can't walk to school any more. We can't be in the streets anymore without the pigs thinking we're illegal immigrants."

    poor kids...

"We must enforce the law evenly, and without regard to skin color, accent, or social status," she said. "We must prove the alarmists and the cynics wrong."
    yeah right bitch!

    Wow ! That's insane.
Some of the comments further down the page really pissed me off:
1:"Why has President Obama not sent the National Guard in? Some of these illegal immigrants are extremely dangerous. They are raping, stealing, abducting, threatening and murdering Americans every day. "
2: "Because thats what he wants. He isn't there to help the american people. He will try to destroy the usa and its people before he leaves office"
Thats just a line from each! Ignorant comments on ignorant comments

This sounds a lot like the sedition laws that were introduced in the late 1700's and enforced in the mid '70s. Essentially police had the right to stop and strip search anyone suspected of any activity against the state. Speaking out against the state, defamatory libel and even prescence at a rally was enough.

what can you do? find what makes the world bad: nationalism, capitalism, government control(of any kind) and do everything in your power to eliminate them and make the world better for future generations.

Hmm there should be some actions to raise awareness on this, though without actual protesting. There should be a chance in here to do some on-street-gags that would make people stop and think for a second... lol
Though, I'm probably thinking of a Dutch crowd, dunno how well it'd work in the US.

racial profiling is around as it is, it isn't something that can be easily defined by the law, and due to this simple fact i can say according to personal experiences that racial profiling was common in the united states and elsewhere regardless of any written law. wow what a joke. that doesn't mean white people are exempt from being fucked in the ass by the federal government and the neo-cons.
