Not guilty, i only found out about Kisschasey after i accidentally hooked up with the Bassist's cousin. I maintain that i did not know of her affiliation with that horrible band at the time of hooking up.

So far im liking Pisschrist, Leprosy and ABC weapons as far as what you guys have told me about (And what ive gotten around to listening, you guys have recommended like 10 bands all up), and i think those are all Australian bands anyway. Ive always liked that original punk Flavor (Sex Pistols, The Ramones, The Clash, The Misfits etc). I once paid $50 for a Ramones belt buckle, witch i know was totally un-punk of me, But its awesome and i had to have it. \m/

you should also probably listen to Behind Enemy Lines like someone earlier said, We aren't allowed to host their music in this website but just do a Google search and you might them (They are American by the way)
also I just found this band Carpathian and I got one of their albums called Isolation, I haven't listened to it yet but I'm going to and maybe you should get it too?
just type in "Carpathian Mediafire" on Google

I not heard of them, shall ask the Leprosy dudes.

They don't wanna put up the download until they at least cover the costs of making the demo tapes. Maybe I could post you a copy? Or just pick one up at Missing Link.

Secondly, I went to a Kisschasy concert cos they were just starting and like the 6th band on one of those all ages shows where like 15 bands play. I was not at all interested in seeing them, they just happened to be on the bill. I was there to see The Nation Blue, whom I maintain produced some of the best music in the past decade. Their album 'Damnation' is one of my favs from my high school days. Go listen to the tracks 'idiot' and 'van deiman' on that album and u should see why i was willing to sit thru kisschasy and carpathian to see them. And like i said earlier, it was like me and one other dude who actually watched the Nation Blue.

Further, Carpathian's 'Isolation' sucks really badly :ecouteurs:

Ah my favourite Melbourne shop. Shame I don't get to go there too often :'(

    @Butcher
Can you name a few Melbourne bands (punk and anarcho) and where I can pick up some of their stuff to listen to?
    Cheers

One Trick Pony, Porcellin Punch, Bang Bang Billy Bonanza

    DOORS 8PM
    all proceeds to GECO

i'd go, but have a mates birthday

other bands playing round town at the moment i like are Circuits, Last Measure, Pisschrist, Bowels, Leprosy, Bloody Hammer, Truth From Facts, Combat Wombat, Occult Blood (improv grind- so only a live band), Iven, Cult Minds, more that i can't think of no doubt. I'll get some links for you when i have a bit more time. U can probs get this stuff at missing link, and thats about it.

Recently deceased melburn bands that ruled were: schifosi, flesh vs venom, diamond sea, majorca, quebec, ABC weapons, my disco (well they still together, but they suck now).

again i'll try and find downloads for all of these, i know they are around.

Marching Orders and The Worst are both dodgy scab bands to stay away from.

Damn you're lucky you've got quite in the scene in your area, the only thing close to hardcore here is a bunch of stinky metalheads
