reading that list made me remember why I love living in melbourne.

Maybe not quite anarcho but Yeah Right, Face-eater and Iron Mind are all sick bands from Melbz as well. And Anchors, Gunrunners and Backyard surgeons but now im really pushing the anarchy thing.

Minnesota has a great scene, most of it in Minneapolis. We've got Destroy, Misery, Code 13 and a bunch of other great bands. Plus we're the home town of Profane Existance. I couldn't be happier.

Resist and Exist are really good.

My hometown (Anoka) is home to a few good bands, mostly on the thrash metal side, but my band is here too. Black metal mixed with reggae.

Not strictly anarcho-punk, but fantastic bands out of Denmark:

    Still active:

Guddommelig Galskab (living legends, going on nearly twenty years):
    http://www.myspace.com/guddommeliggalskab

Selvhenter (Snotty HC-punk inspired a lot by the Danish 80's HCP scene. Excellent shit)
    http://www.myspace.com/selvhenterkbh

Fy Fan! (technically swedish-danish, but whatever)
    http://www.myspace.com/fyfanpunk

Hjertestop (heart-stopping HC punk, still good)
    http://www.myspace.com/hjertestop

De Høje Hæle (ether punk'n'roll, good shit)
    http://www.myspace.com/dehjehle

    Broken up:

Amdi Petersens Armé (awesome HC punk, some of the best shit we've had)
    http://www.myspace.com/amdipetersensarme

    Hul (legendary kiddie HC)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyVgXAUi3Pk
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7Kyq7qyqzU

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELLu0Q7MZH4
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0AiDQlavyg

No Hope for the Kids (war-theme 80s punk, really amazing shit. Live only unfortunately, but get their stuff on Feral Ward or Hjernespind recs.)

Incontrollados (snotty punk from the 90s)
