looking for a nice red wine in the $20-30 range, i'm a fan of the subtle black currant taste i guess
i know this is probably -50 punk points for me but seriously i love red wine that tastes fucking awesome i had a bottle of french wine the other day that was fucking great, lol.
beer sucks, i only like chugging them now (either that or just sitting there sipping on ONE while i fall asleep) which defeats the whole purpose of drinking beer i thought.

you don't have to spend 20-30$ for tasty wine, i really like some 8.99-10.99 bottles of spanish reds. garnacha de fuego or wrongo dongo aren't bad.luzon is another good one. and tres picos granacha. you can def. get a decent wine, for under twenty , and it won't be rotgut and make you sick the next day.

MD 20/20 is supposed to be really sweet and only a few dollars. Less than five, I think, but I am not a big drinker, so I do not know.

Depends on location. Any of the Aussie reds are great, even the cheap ones at five bucks Australian. Depends on what type you are after pinot noir, cabernet, sauvignon, merlot or a mxiture of any of these grapes.

Carlo Rossi, either sangria or burgundy, or I guess any flavor you want. 4 Liters of pure red wine action for only 7-8 bucks at your local super market. That's like 546565645 PR points, the only booze that gives you more is Gran Legacy Vodka, 8-10 bucks for a fuckin handle. Stay thirsty my friends

I don't know much about brands or vintages, I've tried Rosewood and Yellowtail and they were both pretty good. You should drink red wine though because it contains a lot of resveratol which is a powerful antioxidant.

Depends a lot on your taste of cause but if you liked the french wine you tried i would recomend you stick to france and try some different wines from different french regions and of different prices for a while. France is without a doubt the best winemaking country there is, imo. Don't know how familiar you are with the world of winetasting but i would seriously recomend you some time buy a few bottles of different kinds that you compare to eachother. Gather a few people and start tasting away. This is of cause even less punk then just drinking wine but it is worth it if you want to learn what sorts of wine you like most.
Now i feel a need to clarify that i've not been doing winetestings because i'm all burgeois or something that i'm not, i've just waited a lot of tables and some of them in fancy restaurants where it was 'important' that i knew a lot about what i served. Still it always felt good at monday mornings at waitres school to have a nice winetesting! We were suposed to spit it out but seriously, who would do that?! Not me at least, and definately not on a monday morning!
Oh, and have the wine at the right temperature and swirl it before you try it, it looks silly as hell but it does make a difference. Smell it and behave all ridiculous... Most importantly: have fun!
