Congrats on finding lots of awesome music then! They are constantly touring the world these days so maybe you can even get to see them :) They all have their solo projects and working in different compilations so there's lots to find. If you haven't already, look up Promoe and Embee too, and the other guys as well of cause, and the old Sedlighetsroteln wich was a bit more obviously critical of society so to speak, with their most known song being about taking the blame for shooting the prime minister 12 years earlier (of cos they didn't have anything to do with that being about ten years old then) but this is in swedish so it's not so easy to understand for non-swedes. Still sounds good though. Promoe is who sounds most like Looptroop, him i saw live (and met backstage) last summer at a festival.
If you haven't visited their official website, do it! There's some sweet free downloads that isn't on the records.

i hate rap well that is today's interpretation of what rap should be the whole fancy cars lots of money and i can smoke more weed then you can my dick is obviously bigger thing is fucking pathetic
now the rap i like is underground stuff they call them self MCs and not rappers all of middle school i tagged and listened to underground hip-hop that sung about how they can spit better then the other MCs witch i found was more entertaining there are actually alot of politic views on peace when it comes to the kinda music im talking about and it is if you will another siren for freedom and peace they dont rap about how its cool to be an asshole and how its cool to kill people and own guns and sell drugs and fuck "hoes" and talk like your mentally retarded and be greedy and sell out and make cash and put up a front like they "run the south" and drink codeine
then agine im from houston, texas and maybe the rap ist like that for you guys but it is for us now the real problem with all of this is every body of my teenage generation thinks the above listed traits is cool so they become sexist greedy little shits that sag there pants and talk as if they have Ebonics but truth is there just trying to talk like that to sound "gangster" just another reason why i hate society
and also all the lil wayne kinda rappers the real MCs talk shit about and how they should get rid of them for the listed above traits

SO FOR THE RECORD FUCK TODAY'S STEREOTYPE OF RAP
    AND ALL THE MAINSTREAM BULLSHIT

    I agree, fuck the mainstream.

I'm working my way to Promo and Embee. After those guys though, I need to branch out, I like Swedish rap, but I don't want to just stick to it, ya know?

Haha of cos you shouldn't only listen to swedish rap! I listen to it but not only that, if i sound a bit geeky about it it's because it's been with me for a long time and through a lot. I listened to Looptroop's songs about anarchism and the autonomous left way before i seriously got in to listening to anarcho punk. Promoe is btw a straight edge vegan these days, even though the early stuff was quite filled with drug romantic lyrics^^

Ha ha I'm fine with that, after listening to underground stuff I've noticed a major difference between underground and mainstream. My siblings listen to mainstream though, so obnoxious.

i just remembered how dumb alot of people i know are. there would be a fat party(pretty much only time i see these guys) and as soon as they start getting fucked up they have dumb like freestyle battles. they get fucked up on a bunch of blow n booze and try and rap. so half the ti,me they are trying to keep their flow but have nothing to sing about so you see them franticly look around the room. then boom they are singing about a pool table or somthing. its pretty pathetic

I like some national hip-hop/rap, they're very political and I identify with most of their views and where I'm from most punks get along with rappers and rastas etc. so most of us share the same views and all preach the same ideologies just with different background music, what's important is to get the message to the people and make them realize what a fucked up society/country we're living in.

The underground is really united around here, whether you play rap, punk, hip-hop, reggae or even electronic music what matters is that you're feeding the counter-culture and identify with our struggle, the struggle of the people ;)

fuck the mainstream! up the underground!

wu-tang clan is good shit, especially if your smoking a blunt. the mad conductor (ex No Cash singer/screamer) is also mad indie hip hop. while listening to punk-o-rama 8 i heard two amazing hip hop tracks by sage francis and atmosphere (punk-o-rama 8 was essentially the downfall of punk-o-rama)

i don't like hip hop generally, but some of the underground stuff is fuckn ace. check out Gasoline by No Cash...

I like a lot of his stuff but similar to Jedi Mind tricks he has a lot of homophobic lyrics as well as his sexism. It annoys me a lot when people claim to be revolutionary rappers and claim to fighting a machine that creates segregation while having degrading lyrics.

The greatest rapper I have heard so far is keny arkana. She is a female french rapper with a lot of lyrics about social equality and justice. Her video for La Rage has footage of some anarchist protests in it and is pretty fucking moving.

oh god the worst is the insane clown posse. thats a groupe i wish 50 cent shot in some drive by over a graffiti turf war....but he was to busy with his bitchs n hoes driving in his dimond coated bullet proof limo that has spinners made of gold whilethe front tires bounce up and down super fast with the loud constant bass beat coming out of a sub woofer the size of the trunk shaking all the windown loose from the vibrations wich lets the smoke from his 6 paper long blunt.

like i heard on the radio "it sure feels good to be a gangsta"
