Not everything is terrible

    This is in my hometown. Hal Taylor, a 91 year old retired professor has set up a tent city in his back yard for homeless folks. Dude sounds pretty awesome. Amongst his degrees is a masters in theology and, in the articles in our local paper, he rails against "Christian hypocrites" who talk out of both sides of their mouth about "charity" but tell their kids to cross the street when they see a bum.

    Sorry to link to Fox, but you need a subscription to read the Herald Times. Fox is definitely playing up the fear of homeless people and making it sound like his entire neighborhood is against him, which they aren't. Some people from his block have been preparing meals and dropping off supplies even if plenty of them are squealing as well.

    agreed, there is much to many posts on stuff thats happen in the world that is bad. This man is very cerageous for stepping up to help the homeless

    in Koeln(Germany)there is a bar that employes only homeless drink adicts.of course they only serve non-alcoholic drinks.
