i just explained the difference in "kropotkin" topic

Anarcho-syndicalism is just a way to organize, it isn't incompatible with anarcho-communism and even in a purely anarcho-communism society there still would be anarcho-syndicalism to organize the workers

    Anarcho-syndicalism is a technique - anarcho-communism is the conclusion

Actually, both of the ideas isn't far from the original idea of communism. Syndicalism just has the element, that you can "buy out" the capitalistic system eventually.

    That.

Straight to the point to state the differences between the two, while Ungovernable's post was a brief explanation to get more information.

Anarchist-communist ? Isn't that like a protestant catholic or islamic jew ? Surely you either buy
in to Marx or Bukanin or is it hedging your bets ?

Anarchist Communism is not an oxymoron, should you have read the introduction supplied by Back2Front, you would have realized why. There's mainly Anarcho-Individualism and Anarcho-Communism which are the opposites of each other.

Again, read that introduction then state what's wrong with it.

yeah ,yeah get all that but.......my mistake . In the daily struggle the equation is Communism = Marxism ,Obviously i fell into that one .Communism being the aim of Marxism and Bukaninism. So Anarchist communist is really just an anarchist ? or is that too simple ?

Well, I can't really help you a lot with this but I'm sure other members can.

As far as I know, Anarcho-Communists and Marxists have the same goal but with different ways of reaching that goal.

Marxists want to put the working class as dictators, but Anarchists such as Bakunin and Anarcho-Communists argue that eventually the Working Class Dictatorship (AKA Dictatorship of the Proletariat) will become even worse than the previous ruling class themselves, and there would be doubts about them giving up there power, since as we all know, power corrupts.

"What distinguishes anarchist communism from other variants of libertarian communism is the former's opposition to all forms of political power, hierarchy and domination." -Wikipedia

That's all I can help you with, I haven't yet studied the differences between them all and haven't studied a lot about Marxism yet. Sorry.

Basically you are correct re Marxism /Anarchism . Marx and his cronnies expelled Bakunin from the 1st internantional for doubting the Marxist theory, as you wrote .
"Dictatorship of the proletariat" is a strange one .It is and isn't you're explanation . At the moment ; you could say that it is dictatorship of the proletariat by the ruling class , in as much that there is an illusion of democracy. The reality is the vote doesn't really count for anything because the real rulers aren't voted in or out . Someone said "if voting changed anything , you wouldn't get to vote ", sadly that's true .Dictatorship of the proletariat (by the proletariat ) is supposed to be the ultimate democratic ideal .Probably going against the grain here ( ex Trotskyist !!!) but i don't totally discount the notion of the "workers state " as a precurser to the communist society .The Soviet Union and it's satellites are often given examples of how Marxism doesn't work .To me , it's a very lazy response .
I'm sure i've went over this in another topic so i wont go on .
The worldwide uprising didn't materialise which doomed the Bolshevik revolution .The resultant "Socialism in one country" was a disaster for communism .With the gift of hindsight it would have been better if it hadn't of happened .
Trotsky , as it happens , was concerned by the transitional "workers State " ultimately not delivering the goods . He said the communists should be PERMANANT REVOLUTIONARIES in case of this . Doubt that makes him an anarchist , tho ' !

Im a anarcho-communist who believes in the syndicalism way to get there!
Syndicalism is a way using the power of unions and the power of people instead of politicians.

Anarcho-Communism want the same result as marxists but we don't believe in a Communist party or Proleterian Dictatorship we rather believe in the peoples struggle.
'Cuz in our opionion is that the state is conservative (want to keep itself no matter how "revolutionary" it is), so we believe that history have shown how "proleterian dictatorship" have worked, for example the Sovietunionen.

Some reading if your intrested in syndicalism (Im swedish so I don't want to ruin your curiousity with my lame english)

Are there many anarcho-syndicalists in Sweden? I live in The Netherlands, we don't have any movement in here,
Change requires a collective, but we're very few around here...
The Anarcho-syndicalist movements appeal to me a lot,
Unity is the key to change!
