Metric sucks, it was invented so Europeans would measure their dicks, and be able to say 15 cm instead of 6 inches, because it sounds bigger.

 

Hell it works is all I care about, I can measure in miles as well, just not Fahrenheit

 

I don't know man I like the metric system it makes more sense. It is so much easier to divide by tens in your measurements rather than all of the fucking fractions and shit that are in the standard system. I mean how easier can you get. It is also more accurate which is why it is used in science.

it's way more fun to talk in degrees Kelvin. It sounds so much more epic to say "shit it's cold, it must be 273 degrees Kelvin" than " i reckon its about zero degrees celsius."

Plus it makes more sense to have an absolute scale. The idea of minus degrees is fairly ludicrous. You can't have negative units of heat as long as there is heat present, hot and cold are not opposite, just adjectives describing the relative presence of heat.

as for the whole race thing, I liken it to dogs. Chimps are beagles, gorillas are rottweillers, people are labradors. You can have golden, black or chocolate labradors, but at the end of the day they're all still labradors. And they love to create havoc and eat everything in sight.
