hey i saw that there are topics about differnt movies here and there but none for this. has any one seen the montreal movie calleld s.p.i.t? it stands for squeege punks in traffic. it an alright look at livin as a squeege punk and talks alot how in toronto they were cracking donw hard on squeege punks and its an alright watch. the guy it follows (roach) has a second movie i think where he was trying to get soem kind of political party set up but im not sure i have not had the chanve to see it though has any one seen it? i would like to ehar about it. here is a preveiw. the band thats playing is a montreal band called deadly pale. they are pretty decent. the red head chick singein owns a pretty decent venue here in montreal called katacombs its bitchin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqEDH0R9Pxw also my buddy leant me the dvd and it came with another documentary. this one was much older i forget the exact date. but it liked it alot better then spit. it was a documentary film crew of students from migill following around a few homeless in montreal and it was pretty sad cuz it is not fake or bull shit. its just guy with a camera chillin with bunch of homeless and of course there is cryign suicide drinking people being killed. its just a good look at the homeless of montreal. in the 80s. and they got some decent jazz funk sounding music with really mellow bass solos that i really enjoyed. you shoudl check them out. i wish i knew the name of the second film but im sorry i dont it was just labled homless on the streets or somthing liek that
Roach (the producer of this movie) is a fucking dumbass who think he's better than everyone but he doesn't know shit, he's selling his shitty movies but he called us fake anarchists because we sold DIY tshirt for very low cost, back in the past He also made another movie where him and Starbuck makes a political party, they even go to ottawa to make it official and all He's stupid, he just want to be famous Probably Homelessnation movie by Gadget ?
i dont knwo how that roach guy is, i just know he made some movies. i hear starbuck messed alot of shit up and was just in it to fuck around and did not take his part serisly so the whole thing got screwed over in the end but im still donw to watch the movie see what goes on. how did he call you fake? like you talked to him or he was in this site? i have no idea what the name is but that sounds about right? he was a migill student in a film class and that was his class project. the movie i think won an award at the vancover indi film festivle or somthing like that. i really liked that one more beacuzse it wasent all yaa fuck the cops fuck this fuck that it showed that life sucks and that so many of the people are alchoholics and drug addicts and even though they try to clean up its a wirlpool thats really hard to swim out of.
Well starbuck just wanted to make some fun of the democratic systen, he didn't want to make a serious political party because he understand that political party are bullshit. But roach started to like the thing and wanted to make something serious, a real political party aka real bullshit. Roach is the one that screwed everything up, this thing wasn't meant to be serious since the begginning (the name of the party is P.E.N.I.S. so....) Definatly Roach isn't an anarchist or anti-capitalist, he's just an idiot who support the system Yeah he registered on QuebecUnderground and the only thing he did was shit talking.... Also met him a couple of time, and most of my friends who know him all says he's a moron who think he understand everything but he doesnt know shit...
