Eh, I agree with the no animals or children. I don't know how I feel about corpses. I guess that's nasty too. I know some people feel empowered by being in porn so I fully support any amateur shit. But fuck the industry, for real.

I personally don't like to watch even the amateur shit though because I feel like it desensitizes me to sex. I don't know, maybe that's crazy but I always feel like I get less excited if I watch it, you know?

I Don't Like Porn At All. It's A Way Of Exploitation And Treating Other People As Objects.

I watch a lot of porn (or my ex girlfriend private videos ahahahahh) when i'm single and am not ashamed of it. It's our nature and i assume it. Feminists will hate me for saying this but oh well, i'm not a liar...

Seriously dude have you ever seen an heroinoman or a cocainoman in need of drugs ? She could hardly fake to like it, the video wouldn't even be interessing. i do admit that there are some exceptions, but in most of the cases the girls are willing to do it.

A bigger problem than porn in my opinion is the new concept of internet webcams.... Any girl from anywhere in the world can host a webcam show in their home and the website take over half of the profit, plus the girls from poor countries are paid less than american girls. Again the problem is capitalism.. And those websites are becomming more and more popular, there is a lot of websites like that with a couple of thousands of webcam strippers... it's even worse than making a porno, those girls are forced to strip on their webcam ALL DAY LONG and fake to love it, and do disgusting things sometimes...

I have nothing against porn as long as the girl is willing to do it. Some girls (and men too) are so poor that they are FORCED to do that.... and that's disgusting. But we should not put everything in the same basket.

Also, the porn industry is a bit too abusive... Did you know there are more porn movies produced by year than anything else ? The porn industry has become so big that it has a big influence on the market, as example Blu-ray discs won over HD-DVD because the porn industry chosen to release their movies on Blu-ray discs.

Also i believe that without porn there would be much more rapes and such....

    Exactly.

I will watch porn if it is of a variety that works for me.

I find it interesting how some feminists will crap on about the exploitation of women in porn and prostitution but forget about....Gay porn and male prostitutes...of course we dont exist in their line of fire at all.

I would class myself as a Pro-Sex/Sex Positive Feminist.

Anything forced is wrong, consent is fucking hot and should be the general attitude.

But where does 'force' begin and end? Society manipulates people. It don't seem rational to me that people risk their lives and kill for their country, but some still do. I'd say they were forced, too. Society fucks up people's heads with bullshit, to the point that 'consent' means nothing.

Ok so here it is in a very simple example. I decide with one or two other people that we could make some beer money or whatever by either shooting an amateur porno flick or picture shoot. Get it circulated get a little bit of cash maybe if we need it...especially if we are students, its fun for us to do and it sure as shit beats working in a casual low paid job like dishwashing.

Or my example, I need to keep my head above the water and don't want to go near the welfare office. After hooking up with random guys on a weekly basis at bars I thought, fuck this I can make a job out of it too. So I choose to go into the line of Sex Work. I enjoyed it and I managed to support myself financially. I consented to all sexual acts performed for money and I exercised my right to choose clients and what I would and wouldn't do. None of this went to fuel any addictions of any sort either.

If you think that "consent means nothing" as a result of people being brainwashed by whatever bullshit from the rest of society then would that make all sex (penetrative and non-penetrative) tantamount to rape?

Not really, though cant be sure exactly how much we have been manipulated, but since some degree of sex is necessary for survival of species, I think we can be sure it was around long before society was. Ok, I cant see that much difference between selling your body for sex, or manual labour, its all just work, and I could say any work that is not for yourself is prostitution, I guess. I not got problem with that, I got a problem with it being spread via media, though I'm not exactly sure why. Something just don't seem right about it to me. On a basic level, I dont want to walk into a shop or switch on tv and be exposed to it., but its more than just that.

I think a big difference between porn and prostitution is about the consumers. Watching porn is easy and everyone can do it any time without having to think about it at all. It's even difficult to not get exposed to porn. Going to a prostitute is a much more active choice.
As for prostitution i can understand the ones doing that for different reasons, just like the ones who does a porno because they need the money. However i have absolutely no understanding for the ones who pays to fuck someone. How ever i think about that i come to that it probably, at least in most cases, is about authority.
I however have no personal experience of any of it, so i really can't know what it's like. Closest thing i've done is posing as a nude model at an artschool a few times, wich is really the most asexual thing ever.

I am quite active when I watch porn or look for it because I have certain things that appeal to me like everybody else...I don't rely on it but it is ok once every so often.

It is not about authority. Sex Workers (in this case; Prostitutes) are able to fulfill a need that is part of the basic physiological needs (Sex) as outlined by Maslow (yeah yeah I know its a hierarchy of needs but it makes sense in this case). I see this as being a service as much as a job, if somebody needs it that badly and wishes to pay in some way or another then Sex Work is as legitimate as a farmer's market.

Sex Work IS work and if you work as a pimpless, brothel-less, Sex Worker you are in control of what you do and don't do and you can knock off work when you feel like it.

And as far as some people involved with porn are concerned, it may feel the same way posing for a porn shoot. If you have no other experience of it then I am not suggesting to go out there and do it (unless you want to) but have you ever had any friend who have worked as Sex Workers? Strippers are counted as Sex Workers too by the way.

    <3 Nofauxxx <3

In all honesty, when I was 14-15, I wanted to be a pr0n actor.
Not anymore, now I'll just stick to stripping/burlesque/pinup, but still, I do love teh pr0nz.

    Most is quite... Bleeeh.
But as previously stated, <3 Nofauxxx <3 .
Nofauxxx is love. It's got everything good. Fully consenting adults, queers, and random fetishes.
Makes me a happy panda. :D

My lady's not so hot on the pr0n, though.
    Also, the industry is... menacing.
Nofauxxx pays their models quite well, though.
I know, 'cause a membership cost about a bjillion moneys. >_>

It's not the sex workers i'm having a problem with, it's the buyers. Nothing bad about the workers, not saying it's not a legit job. Thing is, i really can not see how that need would get fulfilled in that way, if i'm not getting any i can take care of myself, and i think buying sex must be much like masturbating using another person instead of your own hand.

And as far as some people involved with porn are concerned, it may feel the same way posing for a porn shoot. If you have no other experience of it then I am not suggesting to go out there and do it (unless you want to) but have you ever had any friend who have worked as Sex Workers? I don't want that experience thank you very much. I used to know a stripper, she's the only sex worker i've known. She didn't mind doing that; after she had gotten her nose full of coke and her head filled with promisses of more of it after she was done. Based on what she told me, that was the case with all the girls there. Now that might not be the case for everyone everywhere and you can do what you want, fine by me.
