Ass aside.... She can have GISM if she wants. Hell, anyone can have GISM, because I DO NOT enjoy anything they have produced. But Doom and Icons of Filth, to fucking far man, to fucking far.
I'm a 13 (SO DAMN CLOSE TO BEING FOURTEEN) year old and I listen to Doom. Is there a possibility that I secretly idolize Lady Gaga? :o

Okay, I am gonna just throw this out there, and will probably be criticized for it, but.... Do any of you actually know her personally, and what she listens too? I for one do not, I have only heard one or two of her songs, and seen her briefly on TV... but from what little I have seen, I can say this. She is a weird fucker, and what I have heard of her music it is weird, dark, and artsy. I wouldn't be too shocked to find out she listens to Crust punk... just because it isn't what she performs doesn't mean that she doesn't like it. All we know of her is what we hear and see about her right, so who are we to judge what she might actually be into... I honestly don't give a fuck, I think it is cool to see cool bands show up in bizarre places.

I don't know... I guess sometimes I get annoyed when people get so uptight about a band that they like being liked (or possibly liked) by someone they don't like...

But in all seriousness, Tim, what are the chances that celebrities like her actually like those bands? Very little. The director bought her that jacket because he thought it looked cool, in all likelihood.

Maybe I am just idealistic. Did you think the same thing with Angelina Jolie wearing a Crass shirt? Jolie was really into punk when she was younger, and probably still is, just because she is famous doesn't make her unable to like punk. What about Bjork? She sang weird fucked up pop music, but she was also the singer for KUKL which was an anarcho-punk band on Crass Records. Just because a person is famous, doesn't make them less capable of being into punk. Like I said I don't know Lady Gaga so I can't say, maybe it was done by the director, but what I know of her, she chooses most of her crazy costumes herself... who knows, and who the fuck am I to judge.

I guess the point of my last point was just not to judge unless you know.... and again I really don't care.

they are industry whores and both r seern as unanarcho, she can listen too and wear what she likes but her actions should not be supported in any form, might as well be mcdees, STOP! helping them with free advertising by linking and also by making her the top topic of conversation in 'this' public forum , thankyou

she can actually sing and sold out literally, shes an ex music journo too so shes got ya number, don't be fooled by flashing lights punk! and as the mainstream does ripping like it was outta fashion, if u want weird dark pap, go listen to some new romantic

u don't care rot, thats not anarchist or punk, wat r u the ring of again, crass album's for sale at 60 bux a pop, naaaa.

ie: ask mods to remove please and take the conversation elsewhere or no links, we don't need this here when it is everywhere and this is anarcho punk

Don't forget, we do have an "entertainment and off-topic discussions" board. Everything doesn't have to be all anarcho, all the time.

yeah it's fucked up—she is just an actor—, but if one or two people who already have an inclination towards anarcho, or even the image associated with "punk" and studded leather, see this and go and look up doom or gism and get into it thats a total win. everyone has to start somewhere. even the 14 year old kid sitting on his parents couch watching "music" videos.

Doom just got some free advertising all over the world. fuck. yeah.

    it's still fucked up though.

I doubt that kids who are into shitty pop music would like crust punk bands.... It is like two totally opposite genres on music

BTW i wonder what would members of Doom think about that hahahah

I don't really know why I hate the rich and/or famous that much, but I do.

Angelina Jolie wearing a Crass T-Shirt that was bought for way more than the band actually got during its lifetime is fucking sad, even going against said band's ideals. Not to mention calling her a punk, hell she's got millions of dollars, happy with her life, lives in a mansion, stars on many movies, liked by all, and can buy whatever she wishes. I do not see how any of that shows how much of a 'punk' she is.

So what you're trying to point out is that punk is a genre with mainstream scene kids and wealthy rich folk as fans and that we should not oppose that? The 'revolution' of the lower class has turned into a mainstream rich-folk infested genre. I fail to see how the rich and wealthy can be punks, unless that is they leave their rich parents and sever all contacts with them.
