Saw the Sex Pistols at the Inland Invasion in 2002 I believe. Waited all day long to see them. Shittiest performance I've seen. They were even arguing with each other on stage. It was pathetic. Left 3 or 4 songs into it. Also saw Pennywise that day too...jock rock. Macho clowns trying to start pits all over the place and couldnt even keep them going. ugh. Aren't you tired of all these macho dudes who think punk rock is about fighting? fucking chicks? being racist? all that other garbage. Peace.

Worst band i ever saw was A Global Threat, both times i saw them. They were just douche bags during their whole set. the first time the lead singer kept stomping on everyone's hands who was in the front and then when people took out their phones to take pic he would grab them and throw them into the middle of the crowd. the second time they were playing with a bunch of wanna-be hardcore/emo bands and were once again total dicks during their whole set.

Internal Bleeding, a piss poor Death Metal band who spent the whole gig recycling used up old Carcass riffs.

Sydney band Called The Corps,They supported The Exploited a year or 2 back

    Such amazingly thoughtful lyrics as

    This ones for australia
The best country in the world
    Sunny Days Of Drinking beer
    surf,tattoos and girls

The other support band R*U*S*T were not quite as bad,but shit all the same.

awww :9 I like two BS records (argyle and laughter) but i never saw them live. Sure they are goofy lyrically, and no strong messages of any sort, but every now and then I need a break.

Did you see them with Michael Graves on vocals? Boy, I've avoided so many of those shows now. And they always appear at the crappiest venues that cater to shitty deathcore/metalcore/nu-metal audiences.

Seriously? These guys rule. What was wrong with their set?

Way way back in the mid 80's I caught a Slayer, DRI, and Blood Cum show at the Adams Ave. Theatre in San Diego, it was hilarious because a bunch of local punk bands opened and were great, then Blood Cum crawled on stage I guess these were a couple of the little brothers of the guys in Slayer, they were to drunk to play their instruments, and typical of Arrogant LA area bands at the time started talking shit about San Diego Punks, well all hell broke loose and their Venice Beach Nazi Stormtroopers tried to intimidate the crowd which just made things worse, finally Slayer who had been hanging out with the crowd drinking and getting high came up on stage and calmed everyone down, they anounced that Kurt the singer for DRI was in jail in Tijuana and did we want to see the rest of the band and take turns on stage singing the songs, that was kind of fun, Slayer finally played and started off with a bunch of classic punk covers, at some point people started swan diving off the balcony into the pit and one kid missed and went completely through the stage which was pretty fuckin funny. Other than that I've seen and played shows with too many shitty bands to number.

I went to Leeds Festival with a few of my friends who aren't into the punk scene.

I don't know where to start with that shitstorm, I truley felt out of place there, terrible bands, terrible people, the only saving grace was the pretty tasty spicy bean burgers they were serving in one of the vans and also seeing the (international) noise conspiracy (if only it were Refused).

Some of the crimes against humanity I saw there were:

    The Darkness
    50 Cent
    White Stripes
    The Rasmus

and so much more, but I can't remember as I've been trying to block it out of my mind...

I've never actually been to a concert that I didn't enjoy for one reason or another. But the most embaressing getup I've ever seen live was a little band called NeverShoutNever! i was dragged there by a friend of mine who is a girl and harbors an attraction to the lead singer of the band. If you've heard of this attrocity then you understand why I'm embaressed. Despite the HORRID lyrical content about how great god is and personal problems (girls, school blahblahblah) the atmosphere was incredible. Sold out show with literally no room to move at all. And I was one of maybe 5 men (I've never had so much of the opposite sex's sweat on me at once, and the act is acoustic so it all felt very primal), so I can't say I didn't enjoy it.

in the late 80s a few of us went to the klub foot to see a thrash band called virus not a massive crowd but a good vibe untill they started playing and someone got on the stage with them . these bouncers appeared from the side stage with telescopic truncheons a hit the guy on the head , blood everywhere sort of killed the mood .

Entombed - Singer was so drunk he couldn't remember the lyrics, and didn't know where he was.
Molotov Cocktail - Opened for MDC, boring boring boring.
Demented Are Go! - Great albums, they suck live.
and about 50+ polish crust metal-core bands at Ungdomshuset.

Totally agree. It's not that i don't like a good pit, but if that's all their is to it, i would join a wrestling crew and put on a crappy modern band like Blink 182. How anti-system.
Art and new thinking is always being ruined.

    - Topic:

My Chemical Romance - SUCKED. (Big surprise he?)

I was a little dissapointed with New Model Army - Gone totally metal, forgotten their post-punk sound totally. They played well, but the atmosphere of all the classics you know were totally gone.

Some underground punk bands - i'm getting so damn tired of boring "punk pathetique" bands... Stop trying to be the Buzzcocks if you can't have stage presence and humor.

You can actually find an interview on youtube where one the guys from slayer talks about some kid diving trough the stage and how for a moment he thought that kid must be dead, but than the kid got up and started headbanging...

I refuse to attend closet skinhead shows and recently got flack for not attending an Agnostic Front show...then a couple days later I found an old AF flyer that portrays a huge skinhead smashing a 'peace-punk's' face that's wearing an MDC t-shirt! Some of us don't forget where these bands really come from..............fuckin clowns
