looks like nobody can read, here...
did you check the bands that COVER these songs ?
did you ever read our other posts or check any of our records ?

be happy you're unique : this is the most closed-minded and humor lacking forum of whole internet.

I downloaded the record, although I should have known better. The covers are just as awful as the original songs, 90's mainstream music really sucked...

don't worry, Chabane's Records is a very good friend of mine, also moderator of Pirate-punk.net

He own an independant label, they make ZERO profit on all sales... But it's not only limited to the punk scene, that's why they have some "dance music" releases

On top of all, they distribute their albums for free.

Anarcho-punk.net and Pirate-punk.net and Quebecunderground.net compilations will all be released on Chabane's Records. They also do the mastering for us for free, so they definatly are cool guys

And it's posted under the "other downloads" section

well, sorry to not have made it clearer from the start...

These are covers, and none of them is actually performed in a dance style.
Not all the bands are punk, but all are DIY.
To drop names : The Washingtonians did open for Napalm Death in France, Norah Noizzze is very involved in the fight for queer/transgender rights in Austria, the guy in Undazylium plays guitar with the anarchopunk band Coche Bomba, and so on...
All the bands had a great fun to take those commercial songs and turn them into something else.

This compilation is unauthorized and will not support the music industry in any way ! No rights will be paid to the corporate labels or to anybody !

I've gotta say that in all honesty the only track i liked was the Washingtonians Snap cover... As for all the others I prefer the originals!
