BUCKFAST! it gets you fucked fasts!!

All the cider talk is funny to me. I live in England right now and the majority of everything we drink (especially on park benches. etc) is cider. White cider is usually 8-9% and is the cheapest be far, at around the 2 pound price. I would abstain from alcohol but the weed around here is far to expensive....CIDER!

Im envious of you cider drinkers.
i love the stuff but for some reason
no one sells it near me.
i think they have like one lame kind every few years
    or during fall.
im not even sure if thats true.
its almost as if it doesnt even exist.

can someone give me some names of a decent cider
so i can try and find some?

when i´m on party/show/ weekend with ma friends i drink mostly beer. i like hasseröder, feldschlößchen (only export), cider, and at the beginning of the end of a month (??wtf) i also drink sternburg export. it´s the tastefullst of the cheap beers. but usually - i take what i get when i´m on the road

sometimes mixes like cuba libre and stuf flike that, but i get drunken faster...and i don´t like it to loose control hahaha

during the week i don´t drink alc ( but if a birthday come between...;) )

    so cheers

drinking is not useless and can be non corporate, consuming can mean differant things, when you eat you consume, 'consumerism' is diff disfuk and fakegod, i'm all for getting through the day as long as it doesn't promote consumerism as it were especially when spreading ideas which can be hindered by overcunsumption of anything, i ain't no prude as it were or saint but punk ain't stupid, far from it, i haz brains, speak from my expeiance, knowz where its at and use it, i hope u do too, it'd be like handing out pamphlets supping on coke; and sometimes i gotta sup on coke, na really but theres nec and unnec and time and places all that jazz, i'm not such a prick that i call peoples assholes just because i think they're being stupid, unless they're tryin to tell me how it is while they're on junk etc, get me, probz not haha meh, stay stat oh and come up with some philosiphy you see and read, cheers, i only came here caeue it was chinese new year and soju knocks my socks off bitlike kava, its odd, i fall sleep on tequila but like i said i can't anymore la di da 'such is life', alcohol can also be used with rags

White Ace, White Lighting, White Star, Carbon White. these are some names of White Ciders, which means there the very high percentage ciders (SUIcider). i tend to drink this a lot. Sort of off putting that they all sound like white power bands but it gets you drunk cheap so... Other non gut rotting brands are Strongbow,Three Counties,Country Choice,Magners,Bulmers, and Blackthorne.

rathryn dude you and me neeeeeed to sink brews and talk beer. Defs stoked you have the good sense to go with belgian even tho you live in holland (Birthplace of the most corporate and shitty beer in the world, Heineken)

Sociopop, americas actually got a kickarse craft beer scene at the moment, particularly in Colorado, which living in the midwest shouldn't be too much of a hike for you, and that way you can keep it little business, enjoy waaaaay superior brews, and support the brewers straight up without putting any unnecessary dollars into the corporate distribution and retail scene.

Also keeping it western, Washington State is home to many a kick arse cider, again small time go to the orchards and source it direct. If i lived anywhere in america, let alone the west, I would be all over that shit, kind of jealous.(although Victoria's microbrew scene is exploding at the moment so i can't really complain.)

I'll finish it with my top 10 beers list and a quote (note some of these may be hard to get outside OZ)
    10. Little creatures Pale Ale
    9. Mountaingoat Hightail Ale
    8. Barons Lemon Myrtle Witbier
    7. Temples Saison
    6. Pilzener Urquel
    5. Hobgoblin Ruby Ale
    4. Knappstein Lager
    3. Temples Pale Ale
    2. Coopers Stout
    1. Red Hill Imperial Stout (even in Oz you have to pre book for this beer as it's a very small limited seasonal run. Any Australians should get onto it if possible, you aren't a beer drinker untill you have drank this beer)

Finally, as Michael Jackson said, "Don't drink more beer, drink more beers"
