Lol. I watched that movie more than a time or two back in the day. Always liked it but I bet I haven't watched either one of em since I was 10 years old. Reanimated him with voodoo they did in the second one. Haha. Damn hollywood...but to make a remake...fuck...like bad news bears. The old versions of that movie were goddamn terrible. But Billy Bob Thornton can make anything cool. I just wish he'd killed those little shits for robbing him while he was passed out. That's a bad movie for kids to watch. Kids shouldn't think they can get away with robbing a man just cause hes passed out. Stupid little fucks. I hope they all have pancreatic cancer just for playing the child actors characters that did such. Bad bad bad. Just like Taylor Swift is bad. Taylor Swift is the real reason hollywood needs to be nuked. If I started ranting about what an awful shitbrained role model she is and how disgustingly ....omg...and I saw her country pop bullshit videos before she threatens to fuckup SUPERGIRL. I knew she wanted to break into acting. And noone tried to stop her! That filthy disgusting cunt. If you're a girl in hollywood you're sposed to dress and act like a slut. And anything with a cunt that doesn't act like a slut in hollywood really really really offends me. It's just....omg...she wears dresses that would be acceptable to go to a church. Of course the truth of the matter is she's almost built like olive oil and she doesn't have anything to be slutty about. And not to mention ...super girl....like hell...she's so unsuper. And Kanye West fucked her up. She didn't say anything. Just went backstage and cried like a bitch. Yur gonna be famous looks like the bitch would have some balls. She would've had plenty of backup with all her little don't wanna be a whore fans. And their disgusting fucking promise rings. World needs more stupid flat chested role models like paris hilton. Just a stupid fucking cunt doing what a cunt does. I like how paris hilton doesn't even have the drive to do a proper blowjob. She aspires to nothing and that's goddamn admirable. Because the only possible use she could ever have is to suck properly and turn around and get fucked. But no paris hilton doesn't even do that properly and that's why I like her.

 

dude, they remake every movie, there was only 2 movies to come out in the past 10 years that were huge sellers that were based on an original idea!

Now, I read what alarmclock wrote and can't really figure out is he serious or not. Hollywood as role models for kids, I mean seriously... Growing up I saw a lot of stuff like Rocky, Commando, Conan, Die hard etc. basically your average Hollywood 80's action. Did it make me volunteer for the army, become a police officer or kill somebody? No. I think that in most cases role models are actual people we meet during our lifetime. Also growing up I absorbed a lot of music (videos included) by Jimmy Sommervile, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure and such. Did that make me gay? No, just the contrary, contact with LGBT people has made me more confident about my own sexuality.

I think Hollywood has a big propaganda role, but it has more to do with promoting consumerism than actual role models or violence or whatever. John Wayne was guilty, but not because his movies were racist, he was guilty for a lifetime work of propaganda...

2 movies since 1995 have come out that I have found worth of watching more than once.
Inglorious Basterds, and John Rambo.
