Nice one mate. I met Ben and Kym after a gig in the eclipse (?) a coupla or four years back, (too much weed fucks with my memory, but I think it was just before they refurbished or closed the bar down). They played with a class folk/punk band, but I forgot their name. I've kept in touch via e-mail on occasion, so don't know if they'll remember me, but say hello from me if they do. Oh aye- you could tell em it was the geordie who sent em some poetry! I'll pm you soon about the cd- I lost their first one by lending it to a tosser who stole that and me icons of filth cd! It was a pure wattie punk too! cheers, spence

Discharge is really a D-Beat band, simular to anarcho punk, but not really.

Still, they were really the first punk/d-beat I got into.

Yeah,I understand the musical stylings of D-Beat are different..but its kind of like splitting hairs, crass or rudimentary peni sound nothing like Conflict but are still anarcho punk. Chumbawamba often move away from punk entirely. I Just see anarcho punk as an umbrella term used to cover all styles of Anarchist Punk Music,Folk punk & Hardcore Included. But hey maybe i just like to simplify lol.

Axegrinder, Amebix, Icons of Filth, Discharge, Subhumans (UK), Reagan Youth, Electro Hippies, Destroy, Siege, Extreme Noise Terror, Anti Cimex, Dystopia, Kegcharge, Disrespect, Infest, Chaos UK, Crucifix. Not sure if all of those qualify as anarcho bands but I'm more into 80s hardcore anyhow.
