genderqueer to me seems like transgender with a mix of queer politix...

or a gender-free alternative person... able to change genderwise at will... regardless to biological make up.

very interested to hear what that is to whoever proclaims it.

Genderqueer is and isn't transgendered. I don't identify as trans - as I have no desire to be the opposite sex/gender. But genderqueer can be seen as being part of the trans umbrella. For some people, genderqueer is the same thing as being gender fluid. For me, I am just me. Physically, female, I can't argue biology. But mentally, I don't identify as male or female. I don't really know what I am - language is inefficient to describe me. Genderqueer is about as close as I can get to describing myself in language. I am outside the gender binary - not being male/female but something different. I don't worry too much on defining what I am - as I am simply happy to be myself, whatever that is, if that makes sense. It's an abstract concept, to be outside of what is known and being the unknown. I hope that helps explain it.

I can totally identify with what you said... and I feel that is a really great description of what it is to be gender-queer. I myself, sexually and gender am a little confused... and I prefer not to try to understand, and just live and experience life as it happens and not to care much about the labels or stereo-types. I love who my heart says to love, and feel whatever comes naturally whether that be "male" traits or "female" traits.

i dont give a shit about people being gay...i think that a person shouldn't be judged or stereotyped just because they like a different sex and i think its great that queerpunk is open about his sexuality ...so ....yea....

hey i am gay so i know what i'm talking about, when i tell you that gay people cannot be anarchists because you need to be psychologically prepared to go to prison. therefore i am, which means this: you can't really tell when people state what they believe in whether it is verifiable fact depending on certain actions in their life.
sorry that didn't come out so clear. what i mean is, only if you do some action(s) in your life that support what you state you believe in politically, can you be truely "anything" so therefore in the anarchism department i think i have fallen short.
although trying to purposely limit buying from several different corporations and certain food products, sometimes altogethering boycotting a certain product or company, could be considered one of these actions which reflects your political opinion, which will henceforth be set into stone in how others view you.
this is a good example of why anarchists are sometimes overtly on edge about cops and, significantly overstimulated by their presence. but with good reason i guess.

Whoa hang on there mate...what the fuck are you on about?

Are you suggesting there are no actual self-identifying Queers of any sort in the prison system as prisoners? You are fucking stupid if you believe this and your argument is as deep as a dinner plate.

Wow, Thank you for putting that into words that I have been looking for for years. I've often heard it described as pansexual but I do not believe that does justice to the 'abstract feeling' as you call it because that implies there is equal attraction to all people of all genders, which to put it bluntly; I find everyone beautiful but I am by no means attracted to everyone. I don't associate myself with male or female (except on the awkward social occasion where I am forced to), but for the most part it isn't a conflict inside of me I just forget that gender roles exist until waken up by some jarring societal norm. I however, don't believe that it is just me that is outside of gender binary but everyone is, and thousands of years of insisting males be one way and females be another has taken an obvious toll on how people view themselves and their sexuality. You'd think by now human beings would be rational enough to find a partner in which they feel they have an emotional connection with and not concern the issue of gender/sexuality, but then again human's aren't even rational enough to settle things without dropping a few bombs. Anyways, thanks for helping me phrase those things, you've just made my life a little bit easier. :)

Listen to this... It is about Men Against Sexism in a Washington prison, and although it might not serve as an accurate representation for the broad Anarchist Queer movement; They did set a good example/mentality for us to live by in and out of incarceration. They are loosely connected to the George Jackson Brigade heres a link underneath.

You wouldn't believe how many people who claim to be on the "Left" and proclaim themselves to be "Anarchists" "Socialist" or "Communists" are some of the biggest homophobes, and are just as bad, if not worse than the "Oppressors" they claim to fight against.

Now, I'm a CIS het male, but I have recently had a BIG falling out with my mother because she actually is sympathetic to Fidel Castro and The Cuban Revolution, and I informed her that as long as he threw people from the Cuban LGBTQ community, in mental hospitals or in prison, and as long as Cuban society shunned and ostricized the Cuban LGBTQ community on the island there was NO WAY I could support him, his brother Raul, or Che Guavera, who was also a very nasty homophobe.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't know what Daniel Ortaga's feelings about the LGBTQ community in Nicaragua is, or the Sandanistas, or if there is even a publicly acknowledged LGBTQ community in Nicaragua, but all socialist/communist revolutions, insurrections, regime changes, coup de-tats, etc have all been homophobic in one way or another.

Any revolution, etc that does not take into account the question of an individual's sexual identity/practice/behavior, or, worse yet, shuns them, brands these people as "Deviants' and their sexuality/behavior "Counter-Revolutionary" is one I CANNOT and WILL NOT SUPPORT!

Emma Goldman said it best: IF I CAN'T DANCE, THEN I WANT NO PART OF YOUR REVOLUTION!

Please don't ever forget that at least 75% of all suicides committed by young people stem from sexual identity.
