I just noticed that there were some Anthrax stuff in here. Isnt Anthrax a thrash metal band and not an anarcho punk band? or am i mistaken in some way?

this why most people refer to them (unofficially) as anthrax uk...

oh and on a side note, Anthrax (the thrash band) does a cover of Discharge's Protest and Survive...

I refer to them as (Real) Anthrax as opposed to Anthrax (UK).

Yeah I hate whenever looking for Anthrax UK stuff, all you get reference to is the thrash metal band.

Anthrax are only playing 2 gigs this year and then they are going to go off and write and record a new album, luckily I am playing on the 29th Jan at Red Lion Gravesend... its where it all started for them, and the following show next weekend

Another Winter of Discontent Festival 2011 21st-23rd Jan @ The Gaff:, 382 Holloway Road, London N9 6PN

    Friday 21st Jan:

CITIZEN FISH, Condition: DEAD, A-Heads, Eastfield, Nuke On Route

    Doors 7pm

    Saturday 22nd Jan:

ZOUNDS, Inner Terrestrials, Anthrax, The Distrupters, 16 Guns

    Doors 7pm

This is Anthrax's first gig for 23 years and they are only doing a couple of gigs in 2011 before they sit down and write a new album.

    Sunday 23rd Jan:

BLYTH POWER, Lost Cherrees, Short Bus Window Lickers, T.V. Smith, The Witchdoktors, Defcon Zero, Refuse/All

    Doors 6pm

Blyth Powers first show in London for about 10 years and possibly Lost Cherrees last show in original format.

Tickets: 8 quid per night or 20 quid for the weekend

Tickets available from www. thebigbananapresents .tk

Hopefully see you there as this is gonna be a doosey..... oh and it is selling fast too.

They don't play a lot, but are still active. Some news from Anthrax (UK) : "Next anthrax gigs are i'n October Brighton then Bradford dates coming soon:)" ...They've got a Fbook page...
It seems that they will repress their "One last drop" vinyl as soon as they can (...) cos there is non in stock left...Great stuff for sure.
