Came across this site and thought some people might be interested in the RAAN project. I don't know if anyone here knows what RAAN is about or has even heard of it. RAAN stands for Red & Anarchist Action Network. The key word there, of course, is ACTION. RAAN is not a group of "hey let's think out all the problems we perceive in the world". RAAN is "Hey, shit is fucked up, let's do something about it". RAAN is a network of anti-authoritarian, anti-state communists and anarchists. RAAN does not have a "central leadership" (or any leadership, for that matter), so RAAN is what people make it. RAAN groups are completely autonomous and receive no "direction" from anyone but themselves. RAAN has been around since about 2002. It's been somewhat "dormant" for the last couple of years but has recently made a comeback. RAAN's website (http://redanarchist.org) is back online, and a new forum has gone up (http://redanarchist.org/forum/) as well.
