Alright I've seen a few members of this forum show bits of interest in comic books and I figured it was about time someone started a topic on them.
So heres the place to talk about comic lovin'.
    Some of my favorites are...
Tank Girl (one of my absolute favorites, avatar speaks for itself)
Y: The Last Man (this one gets a lot of hype but the hype is well justified cause it fucking rules)
Hellboy (one of the first comic books I ever devoted myself to reading every single issue)
Frank Miller's Daredevil (an odd choice, I know but for some reason I really loved it)
Watchmen (an obvious choice for ANYONE)
    Neil Gaiman's Sandman (just...amazing.)
Akira (although considered by most to be manga it was written in the early nineteen eightys before manga became dragonball z and it's definitely worth your time)
for some reason I never fell in love with DC or Marvel, I guess I'm just to much of a pretentious dick to fall in love with the big two of comics :D haha

I was actually offered an internship at a comic book company back in high school before i dropped out. Don't really recall the company; some indie place located in Springfeild IL from what i do recall. They came to judge the art show and what not.

    Here's some Favourites of mine.

Tales from the Crypt, Vault of Horror, Creepy Etc.
Tank Girl (Fuck'in awesome, Booga Rules)
    Preacher
The Hellraiser Comics (and pretty well any other Clive Barker Comic)
V for Vendetta (Reminds me so very much of the Dr. Phibes)
    Berni Wrightson's work.
    Lovecraft comic adaptations
    Milk and Cheese
    Johnny the Homicidal Maniac

Beyond that pretty well anything low brow and trashy (Just like my taste in movies <3 Troma <3 ) but i usually greatly disslike Super Heroes; for they are just one lame worn out cliche.

not a big comics fan (but i did read and loved Watchmen) However I do like anti-heroes like The Punisher. And there are certain villians I enjoy, usually more then the hero counterpart, like Lex Luthor, The Joker, Venom, The Violator, etc.

Oh and I loved THE TICK cartoon when I was young, as well as TMNT...

Oh I also like LOBO... especially when he kills santa claus :)

I've read shitloads of comics and like them. I do in fact have some love for the superhero-comics, lol, but primarily the 'weird' or anti-hero ones:
Badger was quite interesting... a superhero with 7 split personalities (off the top of my head)
Batman in the Azrael-story-arc, for those that know. Bruce gets injured and someone else takes over, calling himself Azrael, he goes completely over the top however and nearly kills the Joker amongst others. He's kinda like Batman in The Dark Knight
Spawn was interesting, as was Pitt and Battle Pope was quite... absurd (Jesus as a hippy superhero? 0_o)
Channel Zero was also interesting and an alternative take on the 1984 storyline, basically.
Umaki (off the top of my head), I think it's called Spiral in English was quite interesting, a horror-story based on... uhm... spirals.
If I come up with more I'll just post some more :p

Being in Britain I was into 2000ad- Judge Dredd etc. It was always quite a subversive comic- it's where Alan Moore pretty much cut his comics teeth. Never much cared for Superhero stuff- too much moralising, too much 'truth, justice and the American way' for your average UK cynic. I do have a soft spot for Ennis/ Dillon's Punisher- ultra-violent as fuck, but in a humourous way. I recently read some Authority- the 'Kev' series by Ennis/ Fabry/ Ezquerra. 'The Boys' is also a good laugh and a bit twisted.

My favourite comic series is Jeff Smith's Bone. Haven't bought many comics in ages though 'cause I can't really afford them without giving up CDs or video games and there's no way I'm doing that, haha. I used to borrow quite a bit from my sister's partner as well, got through a lot of the Constantine comics that way.

Haven't read Tank Girl, can't find it anywhere around here.

Sandman (the complete series fucking blows my mind)
Watchmen (I prefer the movie ending. Go ahead and say what you will, I did not like how the comic ended at all)
V for Vendetta (far better than the movie)
Superman: Red Son (A what-if. What-if Superman fell in Soviet Russia instead of Kansas, and became the communist man of steel? So awesome)
    Marvel Zombies
    The Punisher
The Avengers (Mostly the Ultimate universe)

Glad I'm not the only one. I wondered if it was because I saw the movie first but the movie ending just seems to make more sense.

Also when I said Constantine in my last post I meant Hellblazer. Doh.

Heh. Yeah, I dunno. I read the comic book first, but then I saw the movie and was like "Yeah, why did Alan Moore end the comic like he did?"
