Well that's pretty much it. I'd like to know if there are any current good Crust that's female fronted. So far I've listened to Skarp, After the Bombs, Man the Conveyors, Nuclear Death Terror, Aegrimonia and Appalachian Terror Unit. By the way, is it impossible in Crust to understand what they're singing about or do I just have untrained ears?.

Thanks for the suggestiongs! But I was hoping for current bands that aren't disbanded, so far I've only discovered bands that are already done for.

I'll look into those downloads anyway, thank you very much =).

I'm interested in the same thing here. I've listened to those bands and would like to find more. Not really a crust band but from my part of the US there's a good abnd called Disrespect, really good stuff.

my band played with them a few months ago at varning fest in montreal. good band and seemingly nice people.
disrespect did break up (and arent really "crust"....) but, um, members of this band told me they just started a new band.
also this isnt "current" at all but if you guys like anti schism you should check out the initial state lp- 4/5 of the same band, much, MUCH better.

in montreal theres a new band called BONE BLACK. ex-members of DEAD DOGS from winnipeg. no recorded material yet but watch for them, they rip and are super nice people. something between HIS HERO IS GONE and DYSTOPIA but with a female singer. also AFTER THE BOMBS broke up. one of them is in a new band called illegal thats pretty good (not female fronted though....) which also features a member of SELFISH from finland.

my old band played with NUCLEAR DEATH TERROR in copenhagen and they were great live and seemed like nice genuine folks. APPALACHIAN TERROR UNIT are also great and super nice people- actually 2 of them are having a kid soon so go on thier myspace or something and congratulate them (due date is mid january).

Haha im pretty sure Dan of "you know what" was in that band.

Anyways, they are not really THAT crust but Witch Hunt is an awesome hardcore punk band with dual female vox on a lot of songs.

Love to but I live in Chile...

Are any female fronted crust bands active these days or most of them are disbanded? Also, since I'm new at crust, do all bands sound the same or do they actually have distinctive features that makes different from one another?.
