    This happened on Tuesday..
Now no one would have ever accused Verbal Abuse of being politically correct, they were angry, nihilistic, and very loud. But neither would anyone ever say they leaned to the right. I had a very hard time this week not calling this out because Nicki is an addict and I am a recovering addict. But this behavior within the punk community is inherently dangerous. It started Tuesday when Nicki posted this now classic alt right meme:

I immediately recognized it for what it was, Churchill was a pig, but he never said anything of the sort. So I responded in kind.

Right away his fash friends started commenting and giving him attaboys including some Texas wannabe aryan asshole, so I deleted him and felt very sad that someone that has shared the punk spaces with me for over 35 years is also now turning into a fucking zombie. Then on the same day Rose City Antifa published this flyer that had been posted all over Portland

Mind you, this is all on the same day a neo Nazi murdered 10 people in Hanau, Frankfurt, Germany.
Verbal Abuse is opening for MDC and others at Punk Rock Bowling a corporate wank fest in itself but that's beside the point.

Sadly, I am not surprised. In any movement, there is always a bad apple, and the general public tends to focus on THEM instead of trying to talk to individuals on a one on one basis,so it is of no surprise that the actions of one or two people involved with ANTIFA would reflect badly on many individuals who fight to bring an end to racism, fascism, xenophobia, and inequality of all shapes and sizes. It is also sad that people who know better buy into the whole group think without talking to individuals involved.

Where I live, I see the same thing happening with the Black Lives Matter movement. (And I've actually seen that Churchill meme in other places before)

There are more than a few idiots involved with ANTIFA just as there are more than a few racists involved with the Black Lives matter movement, but, in no way do these individuals reflect on what the main goals and objectives of the movements themselves, except these are the magnets that the mainstream media are attracted to, which actually serves their purpose so they can distort the truth and dissuade those who might take an actual interest and want to lend a helping hand. Of course, this is nothing new. The FBI were very effective when it came to infiltrating the Anti-War movement of the 60s' and early 70s as well as the original Black Panther Party.

And speaking of MDC, what do people think about MDC touring with GBH?

In regard to the orange flyer: I would strongly urge people to read up on the history of the FBI and the COINTELPRO agenda in the 60s and 70s to infiltrate and disrupt the anti war movement and The Black Panther party. This flyer demonstrates the tactics used to effectively dismantle and bring down these movements, and organizations. Don't just question authority, question EVERYTHING!

Do you have proof of 'racism' within BLM? That's a really broad statement. Also what is the worst someone auto identifying as Antifa has done? Cracked a proud boys noggin with a bikelock? Finding Antifa to be fascist is straight up cognitive dissonance. Not a huge GBH fan, but I am lifelong friends with David, meh, he's the hardest working living punk out there, he stays on perma-tour, on top of which he just lost his ex and isn't doing so hot emotionally so it doesn't really bug me.
