Well, I grabbed these, and the tracklisting looked good, but when I looked more closely...80 kbs / 22050 kHz? Mate, I appreciate the effort you've made, but for all intents and purposes these are unlistenable on anything above a set of laptop speakers (and even that's pushing it). For someone (like me) with a decent broadband package, taking a chance to grab something like this is just a mild annoyance if it turns out to be a poor quality rip. For others, it could be quite a big waste of their online time and bandwidth.

It would be really cool if people would include bitrate info when they share music - contrary to popular belief, some punk ears are quite discerning

Cheers anyway, hope you take the feedback in the friendly spirit it was intended.

Certainly no offense to your comments taken....
What I do is the mastering myself as all the tracks are of differing volumes, but not quite sure about the bitrate?
Any tips on how to improve things would be much appreciated!

    Thanks for commenting,

    Take care

I agree with Martyn, if anyone knows about bit rate and all that should help to educate those of us who don't know as much. I to be honest don't even know what bitrate even is. When I listen to punk I almost prefer demos and live recordings because to me it sounds like it would if I were to go see the band. I like to hear what the band sounds like, not how well they can be produced.
