So one of the most influential bend for most of the anarchists ( i guess ) is coming to slovenia. I was really disappointed when I saw where and with who are they going to share the stage. The Casualties, Suicidal Tendencies, Anti-Flag.....To cut the long story short :

Which is more or less right (except that the ticket for the festival costs 640kn which is 90 euros in my opinion way to much for an avarage punk to spend ). I'm just curious what do you think about such 'good' (define good?) bands preforming at such festivals which obviously don't support their ideology. I just hope they won't come in limusina with The Casualties.

The major problem I have with The Casualties is just how they limit their audience attendees. Awhile ago I went to one of their concerts in NY and their concert was for ages 18 and above. Why? I know it's not the venue cause I've been to the place before and they have had all ages shows. I also hear they play shows for 21 years of age+. It just bothers me because The Casualties are one of those bands I know kids really like. It seems really discriminate to say only adults can enjoy their music. I mean their commercialization of their music bothers me too, as well as playing over-priced corporate sponsored festivals, but it just seems really rude to even think of playing a show with a 18+ age limit, even if it's the venue idea. On the topic of Propagandhi, doesn't surprise me in the slightest, they are alot like Bad Religion in the sense they say all these political statements but don't follow through on them and they only go where the money is good.

Propagandhi are a beautiful band. With the exception of their "recent" albums.

The casulties to me have always been a fashion band.

but Propagandhi? really? Ageing must be tough if even they have compromised but dont discredit the work they put in, and the many that they inspired. I know personally I would not be where i am today if not for them. Its sad but if we had what half they had we would be on the streets and not on the internet blaming them in silence.

    Fan boy i guess.

a few too many beers deep at the time of the post, but Ill stand by it.

You already called them "one of the most influential bands" so I dont actually disagree with anything you said. Think I was just pissed off at them myself

Maybe Glen Lambert is in the band again and making the decisions?

You could have http://www.punkrockholiday.com/Page/36/ ... 0VOLUNTEER "volunteered" to get in for free. From the look of the page that means just get on stage and moon people? This fest looks like a chore.....
