    Hi,
I'm 20 and from Quebec Canada,
Here to learn more about the punk scene
I'm your standard guy, really do not look like a punk and don't intend to, I guess ?
Always down to hear band suggestions I'm kinda new so, show me your classic.

    Greetings from the lower 48.
Do you participate in your local scene?
What bands do you like, either locally or internationally?

What does a punk look like? I'm in my 50's, have longish hair and a beard that's midway down my chest, all grey. I only sported a mohawk once in my 20's and it looked like squashed roadkill whenever I took my motorbike helmet off. Nor have my clothes screamed punk, I was decidedly unfashionable until Grunge mainstreamed flannel shirts, then I switched to T;s and sloppy joes.
Basically there isn't a "uniform" nor should there be.

    Anyway, welcome.

Actually, I'm glad that this is your view on the subject, this is pretty much how I feel about it, I added that to my welcome post just for the hell of it and to see what kind of comment I would get.

Locally I like Vulgaire Machins, The Dreadnoughts and recently discovered a band name whiskey shits.
Internationally, Ramones, Misfits, Sex Pistols, Rixe,The Exploited ( I know all the controversy I don't really agree with their behaviour but I like the music), Street Dogs, The Descendant, NOFX. Little bit of Anti-Flag and Bad Religion from time to time. I also dig everthing that is folk or celtic punk.
As for participating in my local scene, I live a very cold and far away place so its kinda hard but I try to.
