Riot! Seattle!

Here in seattle we have a little "Party" called the Black Bloc. The Black Bloc consists of all of the radical Anarchist's in seattle. Yesterday (Mayday) there was a general strike, in the midst of the protesters was the Black Bloc waiting for the first chance to throw some stones, homemade smoke bombs, and bags of shit. I was in the middle of this protest turned riot and witnessed the smashing in of corporate establishments. The most beautiful part of the riot was when someone initiated the attack on NikeTown where they threw a massive bag of red paint at the top window. this initiated the attrack with rocks, sticks hammers and whatever the fuck people had in their hands. windows were smashed and logo's defiled, all by the group of black hooded Anarchist's. I was so honored to be a part of this civil disobedience, i even got the privilege of a face full of pepper spray from seattles very own superhero "Pheonix Jones". The police had a few undercovers disguised as anarchist's but it was apparent who they were when they started knocking people down in the street. I would be interested to hear what everyone here has to say about this form of radical defacing of downtown seattle. Cheers.

I wish I was there, but I missed the boat completely. I watched it on the news instead, but it gave me chills. The damage to cars and businesses made me very proud. I feel bad for small business owners, and anyone that didn't drive a sports car, though.

I don't advocate harming them. i feel sorry for them. i'm down for destroying company property but people were just running around destroying cars that belong to working class people. probably out shopping with their measly wages thinking that more stuff is going to make them feel better about their lives. i think they don't know any better and are lost, but they're trying to do what they can (not break the law, vote, go to work, take care of their family, consume) things that our society tells us is right. they don't deserve to get hurt or their shit destroyed.
